Heroes Villains Fan Fest 2018: Firestorm panel

The Heroes and Villains Fan Fest emanated from the New Jersey Convention and Expo Center in Edison, NJ on September 8th and 9th, where the biggest stars from comics television and film were there and fans were able to pose for photos with them, get autographs, and take part in Q&A panel discussions. The fest heavily featured stars from DC’s TV Universe or “Arrow-verse” on The CW. Stars from Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and more were there as well as stars from Fox’s Gotham.

The opening panel of the weekend was the Firestorm panel featuring the trio of actors who’ve portrayed the character: Victor Garber, Robbie Amell, and Franz Drameh. The stars talked about their superhero favorites, and took an array of questions from the eager crowd. And moderating the panel was my wife Athena (Olympus Athens) and myself Dan (Dr. Zaius) of Geeks Of Doom.

Check out the video of our moderating debut here below.

Microsoft does a 180 on their followup to the 360, and Google creates a network of floating balloons…

Social BlendEvery year, Jay Fowler aka SilentJay74 and myself put together a compilation episode of the Social Blend podcast that focuses on some of the interesting (read: mostly ridiculous) moments from the year. 2010 was an awesome year for Social Blend and there were some great moments from the year.

The Best of Social Blend 2010 is now online at Social-Blend.com and also features a short clip from The Ultimate Geek Movies episode we posted about here recently.

In some ways, the podcast is almost like a “sister site” to Geeks of Doom. We often discuss content and news that’s been posted here, and have also had Dave3, Empress Eve, and Tched on the show as well. On top of that, TARDISblend originally came from Social Blend too.
