| Anna Paquin’s ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ Cameo As Rogue Reinstated To The Final Cut |
 |

Back in December the Movie God reported that Anna Paquin‘s brief appearance as Rogue in next month’s mutant-packed mega-sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past had become an occupant of the cutting room floor. According to director Bryan Singer at the time it was an “embarrassment of riches” situation and while it was a “really good sequence” it simply had to go. I watched that trailer twice and couldn’t spot the presence of Rogue at any time unless it was a “blink and you’ll miss it” moment. According to a representative at 20th Century Fox Paquin’s role has now been recovered from the unforgiving territory of future Blu-ray supplements and reinstated to the cut of Future Past that will be released theatrically, but in a slightly reduced form.

| Hugh Jackman Sings ‘Wolverine: The Musical’ Song (Video)
With April Fools’ Day tomorrow you might think this is an early joke based on that headline, but I assure you it is not. While Wolverine: The Musical is obviously not a real thing, Hugh Jackman was recently a guest on The Matt Edmondson Show on BBC Radio and dusted off his Oscar-nominated Jean Valjean voice from Les Miserables for a new rendition of the song “Who Am I?” custom made for the nonexistent Wolverine musical. You can check out a video of Jackman singing the song below.

There’s the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and then there’s everything else. On the X-Men side of things, The Wolverine director James Mangold confirms that he will begin shooting the tentatively titled The Wolverine 2 after X-Men: Apocalypse. Hit the jump for more.

| ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’: New Character Images and Movie Stills
It’s really hard to get a comic book fan’s attention when Guardians of the Galaxy keeps jumping up and down while flailing its arms. And rightfully so, the trailer was a smashing success. But there are a few other comic book movies that have yet to be released that have a much bigger fan base and an already established franchise, such as X-Men: Days Of Future Past, which has had only one trailer so far. But with the May 23, 2014 release date just months away, we can expect to see a new one soon. Until then Fox has released four new movie stills as well as a slew of character images to help promote the film. Check them out in the photo gallery here below.
