Cover Price: $3.99 I’m sure you’re tired of my always positive reviews of this title. I’m sorry, but they’re gonna keep going. Jack Avarice Is The Courier #5 is probably the best issue of the series! More and more of what is great about this series — action, adventure, laughs, and mystery. This issue is a perfect conclusion to this series. Chris Madden, who handles writing and art duties, knows exactly where he’s going in this title and it shows. It’s another well written issue, with barely a panel in the whole book that lets you catch your breath before moving on to the next cliffhanging panel. Madden has really got the characters down, and in just five short issues, they’ve all ready got a life of their own. Great, great writing here from Chris Madden.

Release Date: November 23, 2011
Cover Price: $3.99 You’re gonna have to look long and hard to find a comic book as fun as this one. I’ve loved the series over all, and Jack Avarice Is The Courier #4 is no exception. It’s got the same thing that the previous three issues had — great art, a fun story, and it’s also got a lot of heart. Writer Chris Madden delivers big again in this issue. I really can’t say enough about this book, folks. If you’re not reading it, you’re really missing out. There are a lot of fun Easter eggs in this (and every) issue of the series so far. What I like most about this book is that it doesn’t take itself seriously at all. Madden sets out to tell an entertaining story, and that what he does. It’s a fun, page-turning, can’t wait for the next issue book that will have you on the edge of your seat.

| The GoD List: Comics For November 16, 2011 |
|
Each and every week “The Guy That Won’t Stop Tweeting About Felicity” MK2Fac3 and “Give Me An O!” Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of November 16, 2011. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. Okay, so Felicity is a really great show, you guys. It’s about a college-aged girl’s growth as a person when she goes to college in New York City, a long way away from her hometown of Palo Alto, California. In my humble opinion, it’s the spiritual follow up to one of my favorite shows of all time, My So-Called Life. I’m still in the first season, but I can’t stop watching it, nor can I stop talking about it. Hence, what I’m writing right now. It’s a J.J. Abrams show, and you can absolutely tell. It’s not science fiction, but there’s a lot of fun to be had. Also, it’s streaming on Netflix Instant Watch, so you should totally check it out. Oh wait, I’m not reviewing Felicity? I’m supposed to be talking about comics? This is The GoD List! Well, let’s get to it!

Cover Price: $3.99 Wow. I don’t know about you but when I read comics, I like to have fun. Jack Avarice is The Courier delivers that at a level I haven’t seen in YEARS. This comic should have been published a long time ago, because it’s something that’s been lacking in the comic market for a long time. At its heart, it’s a fun spy-action book and so much more. Let’s get the obvious comparisons out of the way. This book is NOT Danger Girl without hot women, it’s NOT Chuck, it’s really unlike anything that I’ve come across before. But, what it is, is pure 100% AWESOME.
