| SDCC 2019: ‘His Dark Materials’ Trailer: HBO’s Latest May Fill Fantasy Void
It would be hard for any television series to follow up something as grand and epic as Game Of Thrones. Near impossible. But HBO is going to try hard to make that happen with theirs and BBC’s adaptation of His Dark Materials. It won’t be easy, but it will at least fill that void left behind by Game of Thrones until its prequel arrives. And now we are getting an extended look from the upcoming show that will hit TV screens later this Fall, courtesy of a brand new trailer that debuted today at the San Diego Comic-Con. | Final Trailer For ‘IT: Chapter Two’ Released
Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for IT: Chapter Two. A teaser trailer for the follow-up to 2017’s IT was released back in May. The movie is director Andy Muschietti‘s second in a two-part adaptation of Stephen King‘s over 1000-page giant of a horror novel, which was first published in 1986. | ‘Dark Phoenix’ Was Designed To Be “Anti-Apocalypse” and Considered “Too Small For Summer”
It seems that Dark Phoenix, the final installment of 20th Century Fox’s X-Men film franchise was destined to fail right from the get go. Of course, the first film helped usher in a wave of adaptations which would eventually lead up to the highly successful Marvel Cinematic Universe, and to a certain extent the DC Extended Universe. However, after debuting with a weak $33 million, it is starting to look like X-Men is more X-Meh. And like most big budget films that don’t to live up to expectations, there is always some sort of behind the scenes troubles that may have contributed to failures.
