| ‘Django Unchained’ Gets A New Trailer; Soundtrack Info Revealed
Rabid movie geeks will be getting a nifty present this year when Django Unchained, the latest action epic from director Quentin Tarantino, opens on Christmas Day. Not much else is needed to sell people on this movie; if you are anything like me you will have already made plans to go see it on the 25th right after you enjoy Christmas dinner, exchanging presents, and the traditional drinking contest and arm wrestling match with your grandma Freida. Nonetheless, a new trailer is out today that’s light on plot and heavy on action. Plus we have the track listing and ordering info for the Django Unchained soundtrack album. | Sam Claflin, Douglas Booth & More Also Testing For Harry Osborn Role In ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’
It’s become very clear that the Osborn family and corporation will be a major factor The Amazing Spider-Man 2. We previously posted that Brady Corbet (Tetro), Alden Ehrenreich (Beautiful Creatures), and Dane Dehaan (Chronicle) were up for the role of Harry Osborn, son of Norman Osborn and heir to OsCorp. Now you can add Sam Claflin, Eddie Redmayne, Boyd Holbrook, and Douglas Booth to the mix as they will also be in the running for the same role. These seven actors will test for the role in the coming days. Filming is expected to begin sometime early next year.

| Quentin Tarantino Talks About Retirement & Casting Jamie Foxx In ‘Django Unchained’
Quentin Tarantino isn’t one to ever softball anything. But his extensive knowledge and love for films allows him to be the way his is and say the things he says. With Django Unchained just a few more weeks away from release, the director is now talking about the casting process, particularly for the role of Django, which many prominent African American actors tested for. He is also speaking out about a possible retirement from making movies some time in the near future. Tarantino talked recently about his directing resume, and aiming at having ten films on it before retiring. Django Unchained would mean that he would be three more projects away from retirement, which means that the Kill Bill projects are a single entity even though they are split into two films.

| Jamie Foxx In Negotiations To Play Electro In ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’
Marc Webb was very close to not directing The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but he was able to work a few things out that would allow him to return to helm the sequel. With Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone set to reprise their roles as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy respectively, Webb was looking for a couple of actors to fill new roles. We previously reported that Shailene Woodley signed on for a small role as Mary Jane Watson in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and if that film was successful her role would be expanded in The Amazing Spider-Man 3. Which would make sense given what happens to Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man lore. However in that same report it was rumored that Electro would be the villain in the sequel. That rumor is now a fact as Django Unchained star Jamie Foxx is attached to the role.
