| Check Out The Cover Art For ‘Smash! The Incredible Hulk #1’ In October, Marvel’s big green guy gets an all new storyline and a new creative team with Smash! The Incredible Hulk #1.
In typical Marvel Comics fashion, this early along the story elements are mysterious except that in this new story, the Hulk must take on Bruce Banner! Will this take the multiple personality disorder thing to an all new level? Will the two entities actually be split apart and have to face-off for some reason? At this point we can only guess what writer Jason Aaron and artist Mark Silvestri have in store for us. The first issue lands on store shelves in October with variant cover art by Ladronn (Planet Hulk). No word yet on when we’ll see the new series in a digital form. For now start getting excited for Smash! The Incredible Hulk #1 with this early look at the cover art here below.

On Thursday, Marvel revealed that they would be ending one of their flagship titles when Uncanny X-Men comes to an end in October with issue #544. The issue will be written by Kieron Gillen with art by Greg Land and will tie into whatever happens in the upcoming X-Men: Schism event. The solicitation for the issue reads like this…

| July 31st, 2010 at 1:13 pm |

X-Men fans united on last weekend for the Marvel Comics X-Men panel at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con, where the comics company discussed what will happen in the X-Men titles in the next few months.
Of course being that Second Coming just finished, the consequences of the event were discussed as well as the upcoming event Curse of the Mutants and a little bit of what is involved in this event. The biggest thing that Marvel wanted to talk about was the reboot of all the Wolverine family books. Wolverine is starting over at issue #1 and the Wolverine Weapon X writer Jason Aaron will be writing it. Oh I know what you’re going to say, what is happening to Daken? Well, don’t worry, Dark Wolverine will be a separate series starting over at #1 as well. X-23 will also start a new ongoing series as well which has only been miniseries thus far and Marjorie Liu will be working on it as well.
