| Get An Early Look At ‘Avengers Vs X-Men #0’
Avengers Vs X-Men is Marvel’s big event for the summer and it all starts in March with issue #0. This issue apparently moves all of the pieces into place for the epic showdown that is to come. More specifically this issue establishes the importance of the Scarlet Witch and Hope Summers to the greater story. Brian Michael Bendis, Jason Aaron, and Frank Cho team up to bring this issue to life. Marvel is still being pretty cagey about more story details, but we do have a couple of images from the comic here below. Avengers Vs X-Men #0 hits store shelves and the Marvel Comics App in March.

 |

Each and every week “I’m on a Boat” MK2Fac3 and “Like a Boss” Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of January 11, 2012. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. Ahoy, there mateys. Are you ready, kids? I can’t hear you. Okay, now I can here you. This week, Captain MK2Fac3 is too busy skippering the USS Rough Service, but he sent me a message in a bottle with his picks for the week. Meanwhile, I’m stuck on a deserted island, and I have figured out why the Professor had such a problem fixing the boat when the only materials at hand were coconuts, palm fronds, and a collection of hicks, bimbos, non-functional alcoholics, and a crew that got their license from the Nebraska School of Oceanography. I was going to send this week’s list in by Aldis lamp, but it turns out blinking lights do not translate well to the internet and my lawyers told me there was a risk of seizures, so I strapped myself to a couple of sea turtles and found my way back to the mainland. Anyway, enough talk of that cruel mistress of the sea; let’s get to the books.

| The GoD List: Comics For December 21, 2011 |
 |

Each and every week “The American Dragon” MK2Fac3 and “Long Island Iced C” Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of December 21, 2011. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited about comics, because we’ve got a lot of comics coming out this week that have the potential of being some of the finest of the year. We’ve got the return of Batman Incorporated with two of the best artists working in the business, we get the crazy brought to us by Neal Adams in his Batman Odyssey mini-series, as well as many other titles like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Scott Snyder’s Batman, Mark Waid’s Daredevil, Brian Azzarello and Cliff Chiang’s Wonder Woman, Jason Aaron’s Puninshermax, and many other excellent comics. In fact, some of the finest DC Relaunch titles are coming out this week. But there’s no way we could fit all of this awesome into one small list, so what we’ve done is condensed it, much like milk, and unloaded what we consider to be the comics that will blow us out of the water the hardest. Whether they be the most “important” comics, or if they’re just created by our favorites, one thing can be for certain, they’re what we’re looking forward to the most. For we are The HenchFac3, and this is The GoD List.

| The Avengers Vs. The X-Men: It’s Happening
Pretty much every year, comic book publishers unleash a monthly event comic to boost excitement and sales in their comics. And this week Marvel Comics announced that event as The Avengers vs. The X-Men. Now, I’m not quite sure how, but more on that later. Avengers Vs. X-Men will be a bi-weekly, six-month comic coming in at a total of 12 issues and features some of the biggest names in comics. Brian Michael Bendis, Jason Aaron, Jonathan Hickman, and Matt Fraction will all be on writing duties, while John Romita Jr., Olivier Coipel, and Adam Kubert will be working on art.
