M. Night Shyamalan is not one for traditional storytelling. So when he inserted that twist in Split, it showed that the world of Unbreakable was much bigger than we originally thought. That’s because it was revealed that Split took place in the same universe as Unbreakable, and the story would continue on with Glass.

Now Universal has released the newest trailer for Glass starring Samuel L. Jackson, James McAvoy, and Bruce Willis in a film that could change the superhero genre as we know it. Check it out below.

Remember Universal’s short-lived Dark Universe that died an agonizing death when The Mummy opened in theaters to lower than expected numbers? It may have had a short lifespan, but it looks like the Dark Universe could potentially be rising from the grave. Jason Blum, founder and CEO of Blumhouse, says he is interested in bringing the Dark Universe back to life. More on the story here below.

Netflix recently released an official trailer for Ghoul, their first original horror series out of India.

The series comes from Blumhouse Productions, the studio behind the Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and Purge franchises, Get Out, The Visit, Split, and much more, as well as Phantom Films and Ivanhoe.

At San Diego Comic-Con last summer, we found out that Todd McFarlane was going to direct a low-budget R-rated adaptation of his own comic book creation, Spawn, for Blumhouse Productions.

Now McFarlane has found a star for what will be his feature directorial debut. Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx has signed on to play Al Simmons, a Marine who is double-crossed and killed while working for the CIA, sending him to Hell. While there he makes a deal with an evil being to go back to Earth to see his wife, but ends up being sent back as something completely different, a hellspawn.
