| ‘Daddy’s Home 2’ Trailer: Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell Bring On The Christmas Slapstick
A lot of holiday films are pretty much run-of-the-mill and forgettable. A way to make a quick buck by means of using some A-listers in a generic comedy. And while most do even get a sequel, Daddy’s Home proved to be the exception to that rule. Daddy’s Home 2 reunites Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell for another screwball comedy where the slapstick and family friendly comedy is bigger. And of course with all sequels, you’re suppose to go bigger. So they brought in the likes of John Lithgow and Mel Gibson to play their fathers. Gibson playing Dusty’s (Wahlberg) father, and Lithgow playing Brad’s (Ferrell) father. Both are the spitting image of their kids, and now things are about to get more complicated as Brad and Dusty decided to spend Christmas together. Check out the latest trailer for the film below.

| ‘Daddy’s Home 2’ Trailer: Mel Gibson & John Lithgow Are The Grandpas In Upcoming Sequel
In 2015, the holiday comedy Daddy’s Home really surprised us all by becoming a hit at the box office. Obviously, the film really resonated with audiences, and of course, Paramount put a sequel on the fast track. Though how do you take a film about a biological father and a stepfather (played by Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell) competing for their children’s love a step further? Well, you bring the titular characters’ fathers into the picture. Wahlberg and Ferrell both have excellent chemistry, as we have seen in The Other Guys and the first Daddy’s Home. Now, their characters’ fathers will join in on the fun. The first trailer for Daddy’s Home 2 has arrived and it is our first look at the characters’ fathers — played by Mel Gibson and John Lithgow — joining in on the family celebration. Check out the new trailer here below.

| Movie Review: Trainwreck |

Trainwreck
Director: Judd Apatow
Screenwriter: Amy Schumer
Cast: Amy Schumer, Tilda Swinton, Bill Hader, John Cena, Brie Larson, Colin Quinn, LeBron James, Dave Attell, Vanessa Bayer
Universal Pictures
Rated R | 124 Minutes
Release date: July 17, 2015 Does Judd Apatow get paid by the minute? Is there any other logical reason – aside from wanton smugness – that his films are chronically overlong? After seeing his latest comedic effort, Trainwreck, I had to consult IMDb to see if the 124-minute film did, in fact, employ an editor. Turns out Trainwreck had three editors: William Kerr, Peck Prior, Paul Zucker. I’m not sure what this trio was hired to do, however, as it appears nothing was left on the cutting room floor. Like This is 40 and virtually every other Apatow film, Trainwreck is woefully bloated – even if it is wildly funny. Amy Schumer (Inside Amy Schumer) stars as a magazine writer who has made promiscuity her credo. Ever since her adulterous father (Colin Quinn) drilled into her head that monogamy isn’t realistic, Amy has enjoyed a life free of commitment and inhibitions.
