| Apple Lands Musical Take On Charles Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ Starring Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell
A new adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol is on the way. This one will be a musical, with Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell set to star. Now this latest take on A Christmas Carol has a home. After a bidding war which included Netflix, Warner Bros., and Paramount all making offers to acquire the movie, it was Apple who ultimately won the project and is now in final negotiations to complete the acquisition. And it sounds like they dropped some big money on the table to pass all other bidders.

| ‘Instant Family’ Trailer: Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne Learn The ABCs of Parenting
We’ve all seen Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne in comedies before. Both are clearly up to the task of making audiences laugh. And now we will get to see the two work together in Sean Anders‘ film Instant Family, which is based on a true story. Paramount has dropped the first trailer for the upcoming film which sees the two play a married couple who suddenly adopt three children and learn that parenting may be difficult, but there are great rewards that come with it. | Farrelly Bros Confirm ‘Dumb & Dumber 2’; Production To Begin This FallAt a press junket for their latest movie The Three Stooges, directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly took some time to discuss the long-rumored sequel to their 1994 smash hit debut Dumb & Dumber, which also helped launch the career of star Jim Carrey.
