SDCC 2015: ‘Gotham’ Panel & Joker Surprise!

Of course the highly successful Gotham had a panel presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year, with cast members Ben McKenzie (Det. Jim Gordon), Robin Lord Taylor (Oswald Cobblepot), David Mazouz (Bruce Wayne), Donal Logue (Det. Harvey Bullock), Camren Bicondova (Selina Kyle), Cory Michael Smith (Edward Nygma), Erin Richards (Barbra Keen), Morena Baccarin (Dr. Leslie Thompkins), and Sean Pertwee (Alfred Pennyworth). Joining them were executive producers Bruno Heller, Danny Cannon, John Stephens, and one of the DC head honchos, Geoff Johns. They got a surprise!

It’s almost the end for our inaugural season of Gotham! We have a little recap of last week’s episode, a review of this week’s, and lots of clips below for you to enjoy!
Selina (Camren Bicondova) made her first kill last week (check out that video below), pushing Reggie out of the window after he said he was gonna tell. She will be forever different now and is one step closer to being Catwoman. A cop asked Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) to look into a case for him, setting him up to start looking for The Ogre (Milo Ventimiglia). Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) warns him to drop it, explaining that The Ogre goes after the loved ones of anyone investigating him. Even though it was a setup, Jim can’t walk away. More women will die.

Last week on Gotham 1.13 “Welcome Back, Jim Gordon” (Spoilers!!), Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) takes a big bite of corruption by taking down Arnold Flass (Dash Mihok) and Delaware (SOA Alum Nico Nicotera). Jim gets a taste of how easy it is to become a corrupt cop, when Delaware begs him to leave his family out of it, after Penguin’s (Robin Lord Taylor) goon nearly drowns his wife. Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) escapes Falcone’s (John Doman) torture with Butch’s (Drew Powell) sacrifice, then gets out of Dodge, but not before showing her softer side, in her affection for Bullock (Donal Logue) and worry for Butch.
