Ed Helms stars as an all grown up Rusty Griswold, who carries on the Griswold tradition of unnecessarily taking his family on a cross country vacation to Walley World, in order to bring his family together, just like in the first film. | Official ‘Vacation’ Theatrical Trailer Released By Warner Brothers
Warner Brothers has released the full theatrical trailer for Vacation, their reboot/sequel to the hit movie series of the same name starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo as Clark and Ellen Griswold, who also reprise their famous roles in cameo appearances in the new movie. The new movie follows one of the Griswold children, Rusty (played by Ed Helms), who’s now married with children and taking his own family on a vacation back to the original movie’s destination: Walley World. | Sony and Marvel Eye Jonathan Levine, Jared Hess, Others To Direct ‘Spider-Man’ Reboot |

Every day now appears to bear news regarding Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Spider-Man reboot, which might be titled either The Spectacular Spider-Man or Spider-Man: The New Avenger, and is rumored take place during Peter Parker’s high school years. The title role has yet to be cast, but the front-runners reportedly include Nat Wolff, Asa Butterfield, Tom Holland, Timothée Chalamet, and Liam James. Drew Goddard (Cabin in the Woods) supposedly had been the studios’ top choice to write and direct the reboot, but recently a list of possible directors up for the job was released by Deadline’s Mike Fleming Jr. and Goddard’s name is nowhere to be found. Instead it appears as if Marvel and Sony are on the hunt for someone who will bring a lighter touch to the proceedings because the list features the likes of Jonathan Levine, Jared Hess, Jason Moore, Theodore Melfi, and the team of John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein.

Leslie Mann, the star of Knocked Up, This Is 40, and the recent The Other Woman, is has entered into negotiations to play Audrey Griswold in the upcoming Vacation reboot/sequel. The movie stars Ed Helms as Rusty Griswold, who’s now grown up and taking his own family on vacation. | Chris Hemsworth, Charlie Day In Talks For ‘Vacation’ Sequel
A new movie in the Vacation franchise has been in the works for a while now. The movie was delayed for a time, but is back on track and filming is set to begin next month. The sequel/reboot is set to star Ed Helms as Rusty Griswold, the son of Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) and Ellen Griswold (Beverly D’Angelo), who’s now grown up and taking his own family on vacation. Christina Applegate will play his wife. Now the cast looks to be growing with word that Thor and The Avengers star Chris Hemsworth and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Horrible Bosses star Charlie Day are in negotiations to join the movie.
