| Geek Gear: Sonic Meets Jurassic Park In ‘We Love Retrogaming’
The t-shirt deal of the day over at RIPT Apparel is the Jurassic Park – Sonic mash-up called “We Love Retrogaming.” The tee, by artist DilanNoKaze, went on sale at RIPT today, Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at midnight CST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site anymore. The artist said about this design “Just imagine a place where video games were real.”

| GREAT SCOTT, There’s An Episodic ‘Back To The Future’ Game On The Way! |

This is heavy! Telltale Games has struck a deal with NBC Universal and is now hard at work on an episodic game based on my all-time favorite movie Back to the Future, as well as Jurassic Park. No word yet on style of gameplay, but Telltale is known for adventure games like Sam & Max.
If you’re not familiar with Back To The Future, then I can’t acknowledge your existence but for those of us who love the classic “˜80s trilogy about time-traveling Deloreans, hoverboards, and Michael J. Fox, this is our time! Telltale’s CEO Dan Connors said that the games, which are in early development, wouldn’t be so much sequels but rather “a new interpretation of their worlds for a new medium.”

| IDW Welcomes Comic Readers Back to ‘Jurassic Park’ |

IDW has announced that they are teaming up with Universal to develop all-new comics based on the Jurassic Park franchise.
IDW’s Jurassic Park comics will start off with a five-issue story arc available in both print and digital form, written by IDW Senior Editor and comics veteran Bob Schreck. Nate Van Dyke will be providing interior art, while comics’ legends Tom Yeates and Frank Miller will be offering their gory covers to the first issue. Variant covers for the first storyline will be contributed by Arthur Adams, Paul Pope, and Bernie Wrightson. Fans attending WonderCon 2010 (April 2-4th) in San Francisco, can get a sneak peak of the new series at the IDW booth (#519) and at the Jurassic Park panel on Friday. IDW is going to be giving away a Jurassic Park poster at WonderCon as well, featuring Frank Miller‘s cover art for issue #1. Schreck, Van Dyke, and Yeates will also all be on hand throughout the weekend to sign autographs.

| Will ‘Jurassic Park 4’ Be The Start Of A New Trilogy?
Word of a Jurassic Park IV has been around for a long time now. We’ve never seen it turn into any sort of a reality, but with how popular the movies have been, it’s an expected eventual chapter. At this very moment, there still is no official progress of the movie, but Jurassic Park III director Joe Johnston is saying that the movie is on the way, and that it could be a whole new trilogy. While speaking to Box Office, Johnston was cautious about where rumors of Jurassic Park IV had originated, but once he cozied up to the topic and was set up with mention that there was no way that they could logically go back to that island, he decided to fill everyone in on where it all stood.
