| Frank Darabont On ‘Snow White and The Huntsman 2’ Directors Shortlist
According to Deadline’s Mike Fleming Jr., Universal Pictures is scouting for potential directors to take on the sequel to the 2012 fantasy-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, and so far their shortlist of hoped-for helmers includes Gavin O’Connor (Warrior), Andy Muschietti (Mama), and most interestingly, Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption). Darabont has been working mostly in television since the release of his last feature directorial effort, 2007’s Stephen King adaptation The Mist. He was the initial show-runner for AMC’s smashing success The Walking Dead until he and the network went through a nasty split during production on the series’ second season in 2011. Most recently he created the TNT crime series Mob City, which was cancelled after one low-rated season, and performed an uncredited rewrite on Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures.

| King Tut Learns You Can’t Take It With You, Signs On For ‘Mummy’ Reboot
Looking to bring some authenticity to the planned reboot of The Mummy franchise, director Len Wiseman and Universal Pictures have snagged Tutankhamun, the 18th dynasty Egyptian pharaoh, to star in the new film. Best known as King Tut, the once-popular pharaoh is reportedly hellbent on making a comeback, as interest in Tut and his many possessions have waned a lot since his tomb was discovered back in 1922. To help make his leap to the silver screen, Tutankhamun is being rep’d by Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities, who hope their client’s involvement in the Universal Pictures sequel will promote tourism and raise Egyptology back from the dead.

| ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2’ Trailer: Vampires, Werewolves & One Giant Snow Fight
Summit Entertainment saved the best for last, and those who agonized waiting to see any new footage for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 are now breathing one huge sigh of relief. A new 90-second trailer for the film debuted last night during the MTV Music Video Awards, but just in case you didn’t have a chance to watch it last night, you have another chance to watch here. Check out the new trailer here below. Sure seeing Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson holding hands in the trailer may look a bit awkward now, but it looks like some of the major problems in the Breaking Dawn Part 2 come from the film’s visual effects. But that has been a consistent issue with the entire Twilight film franchise, so much so that it might as well be considered a badge of honor for this series.

| Watch Now: Bad Lip Reading Gives ‘Twilight’ Stars Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart New Dialogue
For those who are unfamiliar with Bad Lip Reading, it’s a very popular YouTube channel run by someone who chooses to remain anonymous. They take movies and music videos and political figures, and then replaces whatever they’re saying or singing with their own new words, being careful to match the lips of whoever is speaking as accurately as possible. The results are often hilarious. The latest video to be released goes after a favorite punching bag in the movie world, Twilight. Multiple conversations between Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) are re-dubbed with some of the most absurd dialogue you can think of, including one of the most dramatic discussions about cake ever spoken. Strangely enough, the writing here feels better than the actual movie. Check out the video below!

| First U.S. Trailer For Walter Salles’ ‘On The Road’
Although Walter Salles‘ On The Road has been making a few festival rounds, we’ve only seen a couple of trailers from the film. Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, and Kristen Stewart are just some of the headline names that have lead roles in the film, and now we are getting to see them in the first domestic and very brief beatnik trailer for the film. Check it out here below. You may have noticed that the trailer does an excellent job of previewing Jack Kerouac’s travels during the Beat generation. The brief trailer can only be described as sexually raw, full of drug use, and is musically expressive.
