A big part of what makes the John Wick franchise so popular is its mythology. It’s an action-packed trilogy that sees a secret world of assassins living amongst the populous. The fight choreography is splendid, with each fight and gun battle looking more like a beautiful stylized dance. It is the perfect way to showcase stunt work and highlight how vital stunt people are to a film like this one.
Now, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum gets its home release on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD. Check out my review of the film and all of its bonus features here below.

‘John Wick: Chapter 3’ Images: Keanu Reeves and Halle Berry Take Their Dogs On A Stroll Through The Desert

John Wick (Keanu Reeves) thought he left the hitman life behind him. But when his beloved dog given by his dying wife is killed, he gets his revenge on those who were involved with taking away his pooch. However, he had to repay a debt, and was roped back into the life. But after killing the person he owes on Continental Hotel grounds, a code that cannot be broken, he finds himself marked and on the run.
So John Wick Chapter 3 (or John Wick 3: Parabellum) will serve as the conclusion to everyone’s favorite hitman. But other than a plot synopsis, we don’t know what the film will look like. Although, we can expect to see sharp suits and dogs. Now a pair of images will give us an idea of what to expect from the upcoming sequel and who will be helping the titular character along the way. Check it out below.

“Somebody please get this man a gun!”
With 2014’s John Wick, co-directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch delivered a stylish neo-noir action thriller with hyper-kinetic fight choreography and sophisticated “gun fu” a-la John Woo’s The Killer. In the follow-up, John Wick: Chapter 2, Stahelski and returning screenwriter Derek Kolstad attempt to delve deeper into Wick’s internal struggle and expand the franchise’s mythology.
After unleashing hell on the Russian mobsters who killed his dog, retired hitman John Wick (Keanu Reeves)’s plans to resume a quiet civilian life are cut short when Italian gangster Santino D’Antonio (Riccardo Scamarcio) shows up on his doorstep with a gold “marker†compelling him to repay past favors.

‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Trailer: How Good It Is To See Mr. Wick So Soon

Of course, he’s back. Having a one and done film for John Wick (Keanu Reeves) didn’t seem appropriate for the man, the myth, and the legend. So the successful film about the former assassin who came out of retirement after the son of a crime boss killed his beloved dog (which was also a gift from his dying wife) is getting a well-deserved sequel, and it looks like it will live up to expectations.
Lionsgate has released the second trailer for John Wick: Chapter 2, and the action can only go up from here. Especially since there is a mark on him.
Check out the latest trailer here below.

NYCC 2016: ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Trailer Keanu Reeves Is Out Of Retirement, Again

For a guy who says he is out of the game, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) certainly has a hard time grasping the concept of retirement. Which is a good thing for us, especially if you were a fan of the first film. Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment have released the first trailer today for John Wick: Chapter 2 at the New York Comic-Con. The first film, 2014’s John Wick, was very ambitious but caught everyone’s attention because of the visually appealing stylized action, and now it looks like returning director Chad Stahelski is turning it up in the sequel that will see the title character doing so much more than kick ass in a tailored suit.
Check out the trailer below.
