| WB Looking At Leonardo DiCaprio As Joker For Origins Film
“You had my curiosity, but now you have my attention.” That Leonardo DiCaprio quote could be applied to the Joker origins film we found out about recently. When it was announced, I was curious at how a film that is separate from the DCEU could work. And did anyone really need a Joker film. But now comes word that Warner Bros. is actually looking at DiCaprio to potentially fill the lead role. Considering that Martin Scorsese is producing, and the actor has appeared in five of his films, this couldn’t be a more perfect pairing. More on the story below.

| ‘Rogue One’ Star Ben Mendelsohn In Talks To Play Sheriff Of Nottingham In ‘Robin Hood: Origins’
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is out in theaters everywhere this week (read our review here), and in it Ben Mendelsohn plays the villainous Orson Krennic. Mendelsohn is pretty darn good at taking on the role of a villain, and he continues to capitalize on that talent. It’s being reported that the Australian actor is currently in negotiations to play the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood: Origins, Lionsgate’s upcoming new take on the classic tale.

| Oscars 2016: A Rundown Of The 88th Annual Academy Awards
Oscars 2016 has come and gone. The stars walked from the Red Carpet in Hollywood. We saw what they were wearing. The winners were announced, and the 88th Annual Academy Awards, which was broadcasted on ABC live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, tonight, is done. There were a lot of intriguing storylines heading into this year’s show: Would Leonardo DiCaprio finally get his first Oscar? Would Sylvester Stallone win for a character he was nominated for 40 years ago? Would Alejandro Inarritu become the first director since Joseph L. Mankiewicz in 1949-50 to win back-to-back Best Director honors?
