| New Trailer For Netflix’s Queen Elizabeth Series ‘The Crown’
Back in January we saw a pair of sizzle reels for a couple of Netflix’s upcoming original titles, The Crown and The Get Down…which would also work as a single title people would be curious to learn more about. The Get Down has already been released, but The Crown still has a little over a month before its arrival. Until then, Netflix has released a new trailer for the series, which follows the reign of Queen Elizabeth II beginning in 1947. Continue below to watch the new trailer.

| Trailers For Netflix Series ‘The Crown,’ and ‘The Get Down’
Netflix has released trailers for a pair of their upcoming series, titled The Crown and The Get Down. The Crown is created by Peter Morgan, who has previously worked on the scripts for The Queen, The Last King of Scotland, The Other Boleyn Girl, Frost/Nixon, The Damned United, Rush, and others. It’s a biographical story about the British royal family. The Get Down is created by Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge!, Australia, and The Great Gatsby director Baz Luhrmann and Shawn Ryan, who’s credited as creator/showrunner or producer on series like The Shield, Last Resort, The Unit, Lie to Me, and Terriers. Air date: Friday, April 12, 2013 Outside of episodes of Party Down, I’ve not not watched a lot of Starz shows. However, I do feel that the network is working towards building a larger theme with each of its respective programs. It’ll be interested to see how Da Vinci’s Demons, the network’s newest series, falls into that overall identity. Da Vinci’s Demons reminds me a lot of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys or Xena: Warrior Princess. Depending on how excited or apathetic you just got after reading that statement will serve as a good indicator of your interest in the show, which is an eight-part series. Created, written, and directed by Dark Knight trilogy co-writer David S. Goyer, Da Vinci’s Demons sees the infamous artist rebranded as a young action hero.
