Warner Bros. Pictures has released the final trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters ahead of its release next month. The movie is the latest in Legendary and WB’s shared cinematic universe called the MonsterVerse, which began with 2014’s Godzilla and continued with 2017’s Kong: Skull Island. In it, the title titan will face off against formidable foes such as Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah. | ‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’ Trailer: Titans Battle For Title Of Alpha Kaiju
If there is going to be a Godzilla sequel called Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, there’d very well better be a fight that reflects that subtitle. And Michael Dougherty‘s film looks like it will live up to that title. Warner Bros. has just dropped the newest trailer for the highly anticipated sequel that sees the title Kaiju engaging in an all-out battle with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. | Geek Peek: First Look At ‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’ (Images)
A pair of images have arrived offering us our first peek at Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the much anticipated sequel to 2014’s Godzilla. The movie, which is directed by Michael Dougherty (Trick ‘r Treat, Krampus), picks up about five years after the events of the first movie—the same as the two movies themselves by the time King of the Monsters is released—at a time when the world is still understandably shocked over the insanity of actual giant monsters showing up and wreaking havoc. In addition to the images, Dougherty also shared some info on King of the Monsters including whether or not it sets up the blockbuster mega-showdown Godzilla vs. Kong. You can find it all below.
