| Marvel Chief Kevin Feige Confirms Hulk Will Indeed Smash In ‘The Avengers’
A while back, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was talking about who we would be seeing when The Avengers movie was released in 2012. As expected, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and Nick Fury were all included, but one big name that was still up in the air was that incredible big, green Hulk (Read: Marvel Talks Future Projects; Who Will You See In “˜The Avengers’ Movie?). In a recent interview with SFX Magazine, Feige once again spoke on the project, only this time the Hulk was part of the conversation like he had been there all along. He even confirmed that there was a possibility of Edward Norton returning for a sequel to Lous Leterrier’s The Incredible Hulk, but that would be after The Avengers. There is no word on if we’ll see Norton in the actual Avengers film.

| Watch Now: First Official ‘Iron Man 2’ Trailer Hits Hard! |
 |

The past couple of days have seen an insane amount of trailers hitting the web, and we’ll be trying to keep up with the charge with a little trailer bonanza action for you all. First up is the brand new trailer for none other than Iron Man 2! The trailer came after some minor viral marketing hints and clues came together leading to the cut, but as has been discovered, sometimes it’s much easier to just avoid all that and wait for the goods instead of being dragged along Cloverfield style. As you might expect, the trailer is about as bad ass as trailers come…no big shock for Iron Man. You get a peek at all of the characters like Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), and Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell). You’ll also get a very clear look at Whiplash (Mickey Rourke), how his accent sounds, and just how powerful he is. The trailer is capped off by an interesting image involving War Machine or James Rhodes (Don Cheadle). Yes, we’ve seen him now in the poster and it’s no shock that he’s in the movie, BUT, we were unsure whether he and Stark would do battle or not. Here we see them fighting as a team, so take this as you will. Don’t linger, now; continue on to check out the trailer immediately! Jump to Apple for the HD quality version.

| Stuart Townsend, Ray Stevenson & Tadanobu Asano To Become The Warriors Three In ‘Thor’ |
 |

Kenneth Branagh‘s upcoming adaptation of the Norse god comic book superhero Thor is showing up in the news more and more often these days, and with each and every new morsel, the excitement for the movie builds up steadily. The latest news announcement from Marvel is that Thor’s Asgardian god friends the Warriors Three — Volstagg, Fandral, and Hogun — have now been cast! Branagh has contracted the talents of Stuart Townsend to play the role of Fandral, Tadanobu Asano for Hogun, and the fantastic Ray Stevenson for the part of Volstagg. Townsend is best known for his work as the vampire Lestat in Queen of the Damned and as Dorian Gray in The League of Extraordinary Gentleman. Stevenson recently ended many lives in Punisher: Warzone, but is best used as a brutal warrior, as he has played in King Arthur and on HBO’s Rome. Asano is a Japanese actor who hasn’t done an American film yet, but he appeared in the Oscar nominated Mongol.

| Anthony Hopkins To Become Odin In Kenneth Branagh’s ‘Thor’ |
 |

The trades are reporting that Sir Anthony Hopkins is currently in negotiations to appear in Kenneth Branagh‘s adaptation of Marvel’s Thor. Hopkins would be playing the Norse god Odin, father of Thor, who exiles his son into the disabled body of a mortal doctor in order to teach him some useful virtues and humility in life. This news comes as a bit of a surprise as it was announced back in early June that Brian Blessed would be playing Odin. The movie will tell the story of the cocky and spoiled hero whose lack of discipline re-ignites an ancient war, forcing Odin to banish him to the above-mentioned mortality without memory of his status as a god. While inhabiting this human body, he discovers his true identity and how to switch back and forth from the handicapped Dr. Donald Blake to the warrior Thor, God of Thunder. As with most comic book based movies, this is expected to be something of an origins story to set the character up for those who are not familiar with it. This is also necessary due to the fact that Thor will be part of the epic joining of superheroes in The Avengers, which will feature Iron Man, Hulk, and Captain America.

| Could Superman Make An Appearance In The ‘Green Lantern’ Movie? |
 |

We all know that one of the more popular things to do in comic book movies (namely Marvel) is for superhero characters to do crossovers and make cameo appearances in other movies. For example: we saw Robert Downey Jr. appear briefly in The Incredible Hulk as Tony Stark. Also, Samuel L. Jackson appeared at the end of Iron Man as Nick Fury before going on to sign a 9-movie deal, which will see him showing up in a bunch of flicks as Fury. And with all of these Marvel movies heading toward one juggernaut The Avengers movie, it can only be expected that other crossovers will be taking place. With all of these crafty Marvel cameos, it would only be natural for the other big comic book company that’s making movies, DC Comics, to consider doing this as well. A while back, Green Lantern co-writer Marc Guggenheim discussed the possibility that there may just be a cameo involved for a one Clark Kent. Recently, MTV Splashpage followed up on that possibility and asked Guggenheim where that idea stood.
