| ‘Firewatch’ Coming February 9th For $19.99; New Preview Videos Released
One of the most exciting upcoming video game releases (at least for me anyway) just got a little bit more exciting. The game is called Firewatch, and it looks truly remarkable in its simplicity. Not only will the game be released on February 9th (less than a week from now!), but it will be available not for the usual $60 new game price tag, but for only $20, which is pretty amazing. On top of that, I just discovered that geek favorite artist Olly Moss worked on the art for the game as well. You can find more info and watch a handful of new preview videos for Firewatch below.

| ‘The Last Of Us’ Soundtrack Getting Impressive Vinyl Release
It’s always nice when you get to write about The Last of Us again, even if it doesn’t involve whether or not developer Naughty Dog is going to be making The Last of Us 2 after Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or not. No this bit of news is related to one of the best aspects of the game, its phenomenal score composed by two-time Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaolalla. It’s been announced that the full soundtrack, including the soundtrack for the DLC release “Left Behind,” will be released by Mondo Music on vinyl in an impressive little four-album collection, complete with some lovely artwork by Olly Moss and Jay Shaw. You can read more about the vinyl release, see images of the set and the full cover art, and also watch a video about the music of the game, which I love to watch and share any time I have an excuse to.
