Before Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy promotion begin, the film’s star Chris Pratt was best known for his role as the dumb yet lovable Andy Dwyer on the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. So, the folks over at AwesomenessX decided to mash-up the two properties with an character introduction video.

Check out the video here below, which takes the part of the Guardians Of The Galaxy trailer where the Guardians team is revealed and arranges it like the opening credits for Parks and Recreation, including the use of the sitcom’s theme song.

Comedian Patton Oswalt will make a guest appearance on tomorrow night’s episode of Parks and Recreation. His character will be attempting a filibuster to prevent a city council vote. The producers told Oswalt to just ramble on about anything he wanted to to fill up the time. And what subject did Oswalt use?

Star Wars.

Watch the 8-minute clip here below where Oswalt improvises over 6 minutes worth of content where he gives his own proposal for the plot for the in-development, J.J. Abrams-directed Star Wars: Episode VII. The scene was done in one continuous, unscripted, unrehearsed take.

In the season 4 finale of Parks and Recreation, titled “Win, Lose, or Draw,” we finally find out if City Council candidate Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) wins the election against spoiled rich boy Bobby Newport (Paul Rudd). All season long, Leslie’s friends at the Pawnee Parks Department, including the young married couple Andy Dwyer (Chris Pratt) and April Ludgate (Aubrey Plaza), have been helping out with the campaign.

On election day, back at the Parks Department, April accidentally deletes all the department files from the computers. Thinking there’s no hope for retrieving the lost data, Andy comforts his wife by telling her they can leave Pawnee and start their lives over somewhere else. Busting out a Sharpie, Andy makes a list of “Places To Live,” which includes areas like Chicago and the Florida Everglades; countries like Greenland and Germany; and the Moon, as well as some other familiar destinations: Winterfell, Pegasus, and New Caprica.
