| ‘Aquaman’: Yahya Abdul-Mateen Cast As Black Manta; Nicole Kidman In Talks
While Warner Bros. and DC try to figure out how to lock down a director for The Batman, James Wan is moving ahead with Aquaman. An image of a table read with Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, and Patrick Wilson showed things were progressing very nicely. Now it looks like the cast will grow. A new report says The Get Down‘s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has signed on the play Black Manta, while Nicole Kidman is in talks to play Aquaman’s mother. More on both of these stories below.

So in John Lee Hancock‘s The Founder, this is the history of how Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton) turned himself from a small town milkshake salesman into the multi-million dollar owner of McDonald’s. But this is no ordinary story of a nobody turning himself into something than just a somebody, it is a story of how Kroc did it, which consisted of backdoor deals and underhanded tactics that ripped a beloved restaurant from two humble brothers. | ‘The Conjuring 2’ Trailer: James Wan Scares The Bejeezus Out Of You
There were few recent films that were genuinely able to capture the essence of fright and scares like James Wan‘s The Conjuring. The director proved that jump scares weren’t necessary, and was able to build tension with precision. Now he’s back to follow that up with The Conjuring 2, with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprising their roles as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. However, the sequel will take them across the pond all the way to England where they will have to face what is described as England’s Amityville. Check out the new trailer here below.
