Shortly after it was announced that the character would be getting his own film, some of his fans were confused as to whether or not he will be a part of the X-Men universe. He was formally introduced in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. And while that may not have been the best film to introduce the character, Ryan Reynolds was probably one of the best things about the film. There was some speculation at first that Deadpool might be a reboot. But now X-Men: Apocalypse screenwriter Simon Kinberg confirms that Deadpool is in fact a part of the X-Men film universe. Hit the jump for more.
