iZombie
Season 2 Episode 2: “Zombie Bro”
Directed by John Kretchmer
Written by Diane Ruggiero-Wright
Created by Rob Thomas, Diane Ruggiero-Wright
Starring Rose McIver, Malcolm Goodwin, Rahul Kohli, Robert Buckley, David Anders, Steven Weber
The CW
Air Date: Tuesday, October 13th, 2015, 9:00pm iZombie returned last week for its 2nd season, and Liv’s (Rose McIver) life is a mess. Her mom and brother aren’t speaking to her, because she would not donate blood for a transfusion. Her roommate flew the coop after finding out her secret. Major (Robert Buckley) doesn’t want anything to do with her, after she infected him then cured him. Ravi (Rahul Kohli) is trying to recreate the cure. And Clive (Malcolm Goodwin)? She and Clive are good. Bringing down Max Rager and its smarmy CEO (Steven Weber) is still the prevalent overarching theme (along with making a cure). But iZombie is still about a case a week, or rather, eating the case’s brains so Liv can fake visions, while she really takes on memories and the personality of the deceased to solve the crime with Detective Clive. Major is blackmailed into killing a zombie by Max Rager CEO Vaughn Du Clarke (Steven Weber), and goes all Dexter doing it (except with remorse, of course). Spoilers below.

After being credited as creator of the hit AMC series The Walking Dead and acting as showrunner for a short while, Frank Darabont was fired and moved on to a new project. This new project was set up with TNT, and was known at the time as L.A. Noir. Not L.A. Noire the video game, but based on the book L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America’s Most Seductive City by John Buntin. Since then the show has changed its name to Lost Angels, cast people like Walking Dead star Jon Bernthal, and changed the title again, this time to Mob City. Now a first trailer has been released for the show, which is set to premiere on December 4th, and you can watch it below.
