| SDCC 2014: Dark Comics Announces ‘The Art Of He-Man and The Masters Of The Universe’
Dark Horse Comics had another announcement at 2014’s San Diego Comic Con International with word of the upcoming release of The Art of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The massive tome “collects over 30 years of behind-the-scenes material, lore, and classic imagery” from the classic Mattel toy line. The Art of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is being made with the cooperation of various Mattel and He-Man historians and will include “rarely seen images of concept sketches, prototypes, and more from Mattel’s archives. Featuring beautifully restored art from master illustrator Earl Norem“”celebrated artist of the most memorable He-Man images!” The book will be in comic stores on April 1, 2015 and other bookstores on April 14, 2015, so start saving up your money now. | SDCC 2014: IDW Publishing Announces ‘Orphan Black’ Series
Orphan Black, the sci-fi series currently airing in America on BBC America, has quickly gained a loyal fanbase, thanks to its intriguing plot and fantastic acting, but I’m sure fans of the show are always looking for more story. Well, the folks at IDW are happy to oblige, thanks to the announcement that they are teaming up with series producers temple Street Productions to make an Orphan Black comic book series, set to launch in early 2015. | SDCC 2014: ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 4 Blooper Reel (Video)
Game of Thrones is a shown known for many things but, while there is humor sprinkled throughout the series, comedy is not one of those things. Still, as anyone who follows the show closely and has seen behind the scenes pictures can tell you, this is cast that likes to have fun when the cameras aren’t rolling. And now we know they sometimes like to have fun even when the cameras are rolling as well. During the Game of Thrones panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2014, a blooper reel from season four was shown. It’s brief, but very much worth seeing if you’re a fan of the show. You can watch it below!

| SDCC 2014: ‘Last Of Us’ Movie Panel
The first panel in Friday’s San Diego Comic-Con Hall H was listed solely as “Sneak Preview,” so the audience didn’t know what to expect. The lights dimmed, and the distinctive guitar of Gustavo Santaolalla filled the room. A trailer for a remastered version of Naughty Dog’s groundbreaking PlayStation game The Last of Us played on the screens, ending with the text “Soon to be a major motion picture.” The crowd erupted as the house lights went up and Entertainment Weekly’s Dalton Ross came to the podium. He announced that this panel will be to discuss the film adaptation in development and introduced producer Sam Raimi and original video game writer and creative director Neil Druckmann from Naughty Dog to the panel.
