SDCC 2017 Outlander Panel

Friday night at SDCC 2017 was the panel of Starz’s hit series, Outlander, awash with screaming fans, with gushing fangirl-turned-moderator, Jenna Dewan-Tatum (with an impressive resume herself).

“But really, I am the biggest, hugest, Outlander fan! I love this show.” She then introduces EPs Ronald D. Moore and Maril Davis, author Diana Gabaldon, and stars Richard Rankin, Sophie Skelton, Tobias Menzies, Sam Heughan, and Caitriona Balfe.

Preacher SDCC 2017 Trailer

“Like a 10-inch dick, I need to see it, to believe it.” – Herr Starr

AMC’s Preacher is a series that lives and breathes all aspects of Comic Con. Born from the pages of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s graphic novels, and adapted by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, Preacher is near half way through its second season. And what a season so far.

Check out the trailer below.

As the WB panel was quickly coming to a close, the DCEU portion welcomed Ben Affleck, Ezra Miller, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher and Jason Momoa. As a part of the Justice League, the actors play Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Aquaman, respectively. But there’s still no sight of Henry Cavill, who has played Superman for two DCEU films. A recently released poster hinted at his return when Superman’s emblem appeared as a part of the film’s tagline.

The highlight of any panel of course is the footage, and WB delivered here. A huge 4-minute sneak peek trailer for the movie was shown, and then released online for the world to see. You can find it below along with a new poster.

It wouldn’t be much of a WB panel without a presentation for their flagship franchise, the DCEU. With the screens still lit, the studio confirmed titles for Shazam, Wonder Woman 2, The Flash‘s “Flashpoint” story arc, Green Lantern Corps, The Batman, Suicide Squad 2, and The Batgirl.

Now before we start questioning where’s Aquaman, well, they started off the panel with that title.
