Trailer: Movie Adaptation Of ‘The Darkest Minds’ From Producers Of ‘Stranger Things,’ Arrival’
A couple of years back now we found out that Kung Fu Panda 2 and Kung Fu Panda 3 director Jennifer Yuh Nelson had signed on to direct The Darkest Minds. The movie, which was written by Chad Hodge (Good Behavior, Wayward Pines), is an adaptation of author Alexandra Bracken‘s novel of the same name, which is part of an existing trilogy (with a new book on the way) that will no doubt be used in sequels should this perform well at the box office.
Now 20th Century Fox has released an official trailer for the movie, which stars Amandla Stenberg, Harris Dickinson, Skylan Brooks, Miya Cech, Mandy Moore, and Gwendoline Christie. Producing is Shawn Levy (Stranger Things, Arrival) and Dan Levine (Arrival, Along Came Polly).

Video: Netflix Gets Into The Aftershow Game With ‘Beyond Stranger Things’
The popularity of Netflix’s Stranger Things has inspired a phenomenon. The show, which takes cues from many iconic sci-fi films of the ’80s, will be debuting its second season tomorrow.
And what would a hit show be without an aftershow. But how does an aftershow work for a series that releases all its episodes in one day? Well, Netflix has figured that out with Beyond Stranger Things, hosted by Jim Rash (Community). More on the story and a sneak peak video of the show below.

‘Uncharted’ Movie: New Spider-Man Tom Holland Cast As Nathan Drake
Sony has finally found someone to play Nathan Drake in their long-in-development movie based on the Uncharted video game series, and it is not someone you were expecting.
It would appear that the studio is quite high on the star of their latest reboot of the Spider-Man franchise, Tom Holland, as the actor has become the latest actor attached to play Drake. Why they chose such a young actor for the role makes a little more sense when you see the reason, though I’m not very confident that it will make fans of the games feel better about the casting or the direction the movie is now moving in.
