Back in 2012 we found out about a movie that would reunite the comedy group Monty Python (with Terry Jones leading the project as both writer and director) titled Absolutely Anything. The movie was to be a combination of live-action and CGI, following a teacher who’s given the ability to do absolutely anything he wants by aliens (voiced by Python members) so they can see how badly the human messes things up with this newfound power.

Way back then, apart from knowing that Monty Python members were involved, the only actor who was attached to the project was Robin Williams, who plays a talking dog named Dennis in what looks like will be his final role. The lead role was eventually cast with the great Simon Pegg. A new clip from the movie has been released of Pegg using his helpful ability, including having a chat with Dennis. While we can watch, enjoy, and appreciate a movie for what it is, not always do we really see what goes into making it. This is especially the case for stop-motion films, which require an unfathomable amount of work and detail to pull off successfully. With The Boxtrolls set to hit theaters this Friday, distributor Focus Features has unveiled a pair of new videos that will give you a greater appreciation of the art of stop-motion.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are all set to reprise their Shaun of the Dead roles, but the good news doesn’t end there.

After starring together in the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy (Shaun, Hot Fuzz, The World’s End) for director Edgar Wright, it was wondered if and when the trio would work together again. Pegg has now confirmed that that time is now approaching, though the project is still in the early stages.

Simon Pegg took to the Twitter to reveal that he and Nick Frost would be once again be playing the roles of Shaun and Ed from the 2004 hit Shaun of the Dead. The duo will reprise their roles for the Phineas and Ferb Halloween special.
