Yeah, well, that wasn’t what we expected. The first trailer for the upcoming film, Snow White And The Huntsman has been released, and it shockingly looks kind of amazing. Watch the teaser trailer here below. The film is obviously based on the tale of Snow White, but is very much a revisionist take on the narrative, finding our heroine being hunted down by a woodsman, who ultimately teams up with the titular beauty to take down her evil stepmother.

Love horribly tritevoice overs? How about almost unwatchable grainy, recorded from TV YouTube videos? A fan of Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, or Snow White? Than this is your favorite story. Ever. Thanks to ET (via Collider), we have our first brief look at footage from the upcoming Stewart-starring film, Snow White And The Huntsman, and it’s definitely a brief glimpse. To get to the meaty stuff, you need to skip right to the end of the video, and even then, it’s rather hard to make out just what the hell is occurring.

| SDCC 2011: First Look At ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’ Actors In Costume |
 |

The cast and crew of the forthcoming film Snow White and the Huntsman were on call Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con 2011 to shed some light on their take on the classic story, and give a first look at the actors in costume (see photos here below.)
The panel featured Kristen Stewart (Snow White), Charlize Theron (The Queen), Chris Hemsworth (The Huntsman), Sam Claflin (The Prince), and director Rupert Sanders, who many may know as the guy responsible for directing the popular Call of Duty: Black Ops commercial and the Halo ODST commercial. | ‘The Departed’ Star Ray Winstone Set To Play Final Dwarf In ‘Snow White And The Huntsman’
Just yesterday we found ourselves wondering if the new Universal Pictures take on the Snow White fairy tale, titled Snow White and the Huntsman, could cast known actors in all seven dwarf roles. The reports yesterday were that Ian McShane (Deadwood, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) had been cast as the lead dwarf, Caesar, and that Oscar nominee Bob Hoskins (Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Enemy at the Gates), Eddie Izzard (Shadow of the Vampire, Cars 2), Toby Jones (Harry Potter, Captain America: The First Avenger), Stephen Graham (Boardwalk Empire, Snatch), and Eddie Marsan (Sherlock Holmes, V for Vendetta) were all in talks for other dwarf roles. This left one more, which has now been filled.
