‘The Irishman’ Trailer: Martin Scorsese Gives Netflix A Look At Organized Crime In Post-War America

We’ve seen some pretty good Martin Scorsese films in the past, but The Irishman starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci will be a bit different from all of them. That’s because it will be the first of his films to be ever released directly to Netflix. The film marks the director’s return to the world of gangsters and mobsters as it will “journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime in post-war America.”
Check out the trailer here below.

Hard to believe there was a time before Johnny Depp was Captain Jack Sparrow. Depp was a superstar for nearly two decades and then took the role playing the swaggering pirate in a blockbuster based on a Disney theme park attraction. That role earned Depp his first of three Oscar nominations and changed his career path. Here we are 14 years later, and Depp is still chugging along on the high seas in his fifth Pirates film, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
This time, Jack is searching for the trident of Poseidon, while an old enemy, Captain Salazar (Oscar winner Javier Bardem) hunts him down. While these films have had their ups and downs over the years, no one can deny Depp’s ability to entertain, and part 5 is maybe the best Pirates film since the original. It is out now on Blu-ray/DVD/Digital combo pack and loaded with special features.

‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ Trailer: Jack Goes On His Final Adventure

Never trust Jack (Johnny Depp) to change his ways. The cunning, oftentimes drunk, pirate with a silver tongue has gotten into trouble more times than anyone can count. While it has been over five years since we last saw Jack try to obtain immortality, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales promises to be one of the best films of the franchise.
Disney has released a new trailer for the film, which teases more exciting pirate action than any of the previous marketing material we have seen. In it, we learn why Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) is a pirate-like phantom that is searching for Sparrow. We also get a better look at some of the new characters that will be seen and some of the old ones that will be returning. Check out the latest trailer and poster here below.

Season of the Witch
Netflix Streaming
DVD | Blu-ray
Directed by Dominic Sena
Starring Nicolas Cage, Ron Perlman, Claire Foy, Stephen Campbell Moore, Stephen Graham, Christopher Lee
Rogue / Relativity Media
Originally Released: January 7, 2011
Lead us not into temptation…
Like the title says, this Dominic Sena movie is about a witch. Or is it?
Establishing itself during the middle ages, full of religious persecution, the Crusades, and the Plague, Season of the Witch (totally unrelated to the 1972 George Romero classic of the same name; or the third chapter of the Halloween franchise) is a journey movie, that is essentially a medieval (and tamer) homage of The Exorcist, taking influence from adventure films such as Lord of the Rings, National Treasure, and more.
…or is it?
With the grandiosity of the above description being fairly accurate, Season of the Witch actually falls short of the epic feel of the comparisons above. In fact, the movie has been critically panned since its release, rightful in some areas, but snubbing one particular element worth highlighting: While many areas of the film are a bit of a let-down, there is a fun aspect to the film that props it up, making it a movie worth checking out at least once.
