Air Date: Sunday, February 19, 2017 Warning – SPOILERS for AMC’s The Walking Dead… On last week’s mid-season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead, Rick and some of his crew from Alexandria went to both the Hilltop colony and the Kingdom to get the two communities to join his fight against Negan and the Saviors. But both of those groups turned Rick down, fearing that they’d lose if they went up against the Saviors. It seemed like the Alexandrians would remain on their own. When they returned home, they find their pantry has been emptied and Father Gabriel is gone. At first, it seemed as if Gabriel made off with everything and abandoned them, but Rick knows better. He found a clue left behind – the word “Boat,” and figured out that he must return to the boat area where they’d recently found supplies. When they arrive back to the area, they are surrounded by a new group of people carrying weapons. But Rick wasn’t afraid; instead, he smiled. In the latest episode, 7.10 “New Best Friends,” we find out why Rick was smiling and what happened to Father Gabriel, as well as what’s happening back at the Kingdom and with the self-exiled Carol.

Air Date: Sunday, February 12, 2017 Warning – SPOILERS for AMC’s The Walking Dead… The first part of Season 7 of The Walking Dead was a tough one to get through, as it began with the brutal death of two main characters, including one who was extremely popular with fans. All of this was at the hands of the new bad guy in town, Negan, who proved in eight episodes that he was bigger and badder than any other villain that Rick and the gang have come up against before. Week after week, we watched as Rick yielded to Negan’s sadistic will and his group at Alexandria became subjugated to The Saviors. The 90-minute mid-season 7 finale, Episode 7.8 “Hearts Still Beating,” which aired back in December, finally brought us hope that Rick and his crew might be able to rise above once more. Daryl escaped his dark cell at Negan’s Sanctuary compound, and he and Jesus make it to the Hilltop Colony, where Maggie, Sasha and Enid were holed up. At the episode’s end, we see the aforementioned characters greet Rick and his crew — Tara, Michonne, Rosita, and Carl — who have arrived to make a plan to stop Negan, which will include a possible team-up with King Ezekiel and The Kingdom, and perhaps even with the women of the Oceanside colony.

Air Date: Sunday, December 11, 2016 Warning – SPOILERS for AMC’s The Walking Dead… Last week’s episode of The Walking Dead saw Carl sneak into the Sanctuary and immediately get captured by Negan, who spent the entire time showing the boy how powerful he is. Air Date: Sunday, December 4, 2016 Warning – SPOILERS for AMC’s The Walking Dead… Last week’s episode of The Walking Dead was mainly about Tara and her altercation with the women of Oceanside, who had gone into hiding after their men were all killed by Negan. We also saw Rick and Aaron heading out of Alexandria to scavenge for Negan, but it seemed that Michonne wasn’t exactly on board with it all. Meanwhile, Carl and Enid travelled to the Hilltop Colony, so Enid could visit with Maggie, but Carl then went his own way… stowing away in a truck that was headed to Negan’s Sanctuary. Hilltop’s Jesus also showed up on the cargo truck with similar intentions. This week, on Episode 7.7 “Sing Me A Song,” we find out what happened when the cargo truck arrives back at the Sanctuary; what’s going on with Rick and Aaron on their desperate scavenge; where Michonne is going; how Spence really feels and what he’s actually capable of; and what Rosita and Eugene are up to. Oh, and lots more Negan stuff.
