| Fox 2000’s Elizabeth Gabler Signs Deal With Sony Pictures
One of the first tragedies of the Disney-Fox merger was the dissolution of Fox’s smaller branch Fox 2000. That branch produced films like Hidden Figures and Life of Pi. It was thought that everyone at Fox 2000 would be out of a job. But a new report says another studio will be saving it. Sony will be hiring Elizabeth Gabler, former head of the now defunct Fox 2000, and her team to do film and TV adaptations of smaller films based on inspirational stories. More on the report below.

The pose. The music. And, of course, that exchange of pleasantries. These are just some of the recognizable staples of Charlie’s Angels. And it is all there in Sony Pictures’ new telling of the titular film directed by Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect 2). And with these new tellings comes a brand new cast and vision. Men in Black: International may have brought Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson back together again, but even their chemistry wasn’t enough to bring the loose reboot, which has been widely panned by critics, summer blockbuster glory. | Django / Zorro Crossover Movie On The Way From Quentin Tarantino and Jerrod Carmichael
Crossovers are a pretty big movie event. Of course, many of them come from Marvel Studios and DC films. However, there is an unexpected one that some of us probably never saw coming. | ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’ Trailer: Tarantino Explores Manson Family Murders During Golden Age Of Hollywood
Sony Pictures has released the second trailer for Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. The first trailer was released back in March. The mega-ensemble film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Rick Dalton, a TV actor who is looking to make his break into movies, and Brad Pitt as Dalton’s stunt double. Set during the end of the Golden Age of Hollywood, the two navigate their way through the changes of the entertainment business, all the while not realizing that their neighbor, Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie), will become a part of one of the most infamous murders of 1969.
