| ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Director Jon Watts Says The Multiverse Will Play A Huge Role In Spidey’s Newest Film |
 |

Spider-Man: Far From Home is the final chapter of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will see the Webslinger dealing with the fallout of Avengers: Endgame. Many of the founding Avengers have moved on one way or another, with some of them passing on the mantle and title to other heroes. And based on the latest trailer, Spidey will be one of those heroes. And before he can take on those responsibilities, he will be going on a European vacation. Which is abruptly interrupted when Spidey (Tom Holland) is recruited by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to join Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal), who just so happens to be from another universe. Together, they must deal with a new elemental threat that comes from Beck’s Earth. While many believed that Beck was using his Mysterio persona and knack for using Hollywood special effects, as well as smoke and mirrors, to pull off his crimes, director Jon Watts seems to hint that Beck isn’t the same person that we know him to be. Check out what he had to say below.

Jackson) turns it into a world-saving mission. Now he must face new elemental threats that pose a danger to his world, and the only person that could help him is Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal), a person with mystical powers who is very familiar with these creatures. Oh, did I mention that Beck hints that he is from another world? Check out the new trailer here below.

Looking back, it is no wonder it won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. Visually, it’s unlike anything anyone has ever seen. Every single frame looks like a comic book panel come to life. Then there’s the story, which is equally impressive as we not only get to see a new side of the Spider-Man lore but also a timely origins story that comes to life as it echoes the importance of representation. Now is the time to bring the animated sensation home because the film arrives on 4K, Blu-ray, Digital, and DVD today. Loaded with a ton of bonus features that include deleted scenes, in-depth making of features, a tribute to Stan Lee, and so much more, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is an absolute must-have for anyone who is a fan of the character, Miles Morales, or just the animation medium itself.
