
The general consensus among Star Wars fans when talking about the recently announced Star Wars: Episode VII seems to be that the movie’s best chance for success would be to distance itself from the storylines and characters of the previous six movies, and start fresh. Still, considering that they were not able to appear in the prequel trilogy, there’s no denying that many of those same fans would likely be excited to see their favorite characters make an appearance.
And, according to one “highly placed” source, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher are all open to returning for the movie, should there be need for Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia, of course. “Harrison is open to the idea of doing the movie and he’s upbeat about it, all three of them are,” the source said.
