It is almost hard to believe that with the number of reports that have come out surrounding Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, there hasn’t been a trailer. Cross your fingers we will see something come out of Star Wars Celebration next month. But in the meantime there is still the matter of addressing those reshoots that will be taking place. With social media spreading news (and rumors) in a matter of seconds, the creative minds behind the film are most likely to hear of it. | ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Images Detail Ground Wars and Storming Beaches
In the past few days, there has been a steady stream of news about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story being released. Yesterday came word that Darth Vader would be in the film with conjoining news today that he would be voiced by none other than James Earl Jones. Yesterday also revealed the names and descriptions of the characters that will be seen in the movie, namely those who will be stealing the plans to the Death Star and the man within the Empire who seeks to rise above the ranks. So yesterday news broke about Darth Vader being in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Given that the standalone film would take place in between the events of Episode III and moments before Episode IV, it would make some sense to at least acknowledge the Dark Lord of the Sith. | Darth Vader Confirmed For ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’; Plus More Character Bits
The rumor that Darth Vader would be appearing in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story seemed to have gone under the radar with the reports of 40% of the film being reshot circling it. At the time it was a rumor that made plenty of sense considering how the standalone film centers on a group of rebels who go on a dangerous mission to steal the plans to the Death Star. So far we’ve only seen one teaser trailer that just set the tone, but no Darth Vader in sight. While we can expect to see more footage during Star Wars Celebration, it’s not clear if the Sith Lord will appear in it. But for those who are just anxiously waiting for an answer, you can take a huge sigh of relief.
