| Liam Neeson’s Winning Super Bowl Commercial |

The question of the day in the sports world after Super Bowl XLIX was: Did New England win, or did Seattle lose? Well the answer is simple. The answer is neither. The winner was Liam Neeson (Or AngryNeeson52). After all, he has a very particular set of skills”¦ Liam Neeson, the once and possibly future Oscar contender from classics like Schindler’s List and Rob Roy, developed into the most unlikely and marketable action star in recent memory. Super Bowl commercials are almost more of a big marketing deal than the actual game. Amidst the countless ads involving cute animals, fast cars, and alcoholic beverages came (like Neeson) the most unlikely great advertisement of Super Sunday. In the first half of the big game, a commercial ran for the hit mobile game Clash of Clans. After being defeated by BigbuffetBoy85, Neeson — in his best Bryan Mills (his Taken series character) — threatens to unleash his particular set of skills, which in Clash of Clans include “lots of barbarians and dragons.” Neeson’s verbal threats are interrupted when a server at Little Cupcakes Bakeshop (in Bay Ridge Brooklyn!) hilariously mispronounces the actor’s name as LIE-am, in a moment any one who has ever been to Starbucks will understand. You can watch the commercial below.

| Bud Light ‘Pac-Man’ Super Bowl Ad Among The Best This Year |

While fans of the Seattle Seahawks lick their wounds and fans of the New England Patriots celebrate accordingly, the rest of the world now debates the important questions about the Super Bowl, such as “Which movie trailer did you like most?” or more importantly, “Which ad was the best?” Because after all, that’s what the non-sportsing types care about. Ever since Apple’s ‘1984’ ad against Big Brother, the stakes go up every year for advertising for the Super Bowl. While this year seemed to be “The Year of Emotional Outcry,” there were still a few spots that went for that “Oh, that’s cool” factor. Some talk on social media is that an early frontrunner for “favorite” is the Bud Light “Pac Man” commercial amongst the more geeky viewers. In it, a patron at a bar who’s “Up For Anything,” is unwittingly turned into the legendary Pac-Man video game icon. The patron then runs around a giant grid avoiding the ghosts just like in the classic arcade game. Check out the Bud Light “Pac-Man” ad in the video here below.

| Arnold Schwarzenegger As The Terminator On ‘Fallon’ Live Post-Super Bowl Show |

Just before Sunday night’s Super Bowl, Terminator Genisys star Arnold Schwarzenegger posted a video where he revealed which team he was rooting for by holding up a sign with a metal Terminator robot hand, and during NBC’s live broadcast of the big game, there was a Terminator Genisys TV Spot for the film. But that wasn’t the end of the night for the former California governor. After the Super Bowl, the actor made his way over to The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon for the special live episode. Right before the first commercial break (after the star-studded a capella version of Queen’s “We Are the Champions), Schwarzenegger made a smokey entrance in his Terminator attire of t-shirt, leather jacket, and dark sunglasses to simply say “We’ll be back.” There’s no individual clip of the entrance, but the full episode is embedded here below, so skip to around the 30:30-minute mark just before the first ad break to see it. [Update – the individual clip is now online, see it here below.]

| Best Super Bowl Ads 2015: Movies, TV, Celebrities |

During Sunday night’s Super Bowl, we posted throughout the evening the Super Bowl commercials that pertained to movies and television that were aired during the big game as well as during the pre-Game, Halftime, and post-Game shows. But, there’s still a lot more ad offerings from Super Bowl XLIX — which saw the returning champs The Seattle Seahawks go up against The New England Patriots in Glendale, Arizona’s University Of Phoenix Stadium — that we didn’t get to post. So now, we’re collecting them all here below for your enjoyment, since there was plenty of new TV and movie footage revealed, and of course, those clever and celebrity-filled product commercials. I didn’t include every commercial shown, as some didn’t pertain to our type of entertainment and some I just didn’t enjoy or care about. Instead, I’ve embedded most of the movie and TV spots, along with my favorites from all those car and soda-type adverts, most of which feature celebrities. | Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell & Kevin Hart Lip Sync Battle In Post-Super Bowl Show (Video)
The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon lifted the spirits of Seahawks fans, while filling the proud hearts of Patriots fans, with an awesome post-Super Bowl live episode from Phoenix, Arizona near the big game that included two of his best bits: the lip sync battle and a capella. Watch both segments here below, along with other highlights from the show. Fallon’s epic lip sync battle was between Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart, and of course, himself. Ferrell came out with Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love” complete with dance moves, followed by Fallon’s lip-syncing Kelly Clarkson’s “Since You Been Gone.” Kevin Hart did a moving “All of Me” by John Legend, crooning to Will Ferrell, who tried to move in for a kiss.
