The Incredibles is one of my favorite Pixar movies ever made. Naturally being about super heroes, this is definitely the one movie that was ripe for a comic book interpretation. When I first read Mark Waid‘s original interpretation I was extremely upset that it was only four issues. Well BOOM! Kids has since decided to make an ongoing series of The Incredibles and I couldn’t be happier with Mark Waid and Landry Walker‘s writing on the series thus far. As the story continues in The Incredibles #7 we get a conclusion to the story of Mesmerella and Dash being grounded and powerless. This story was particularly interesting because it takes Dash completely out of his element and has him trying to figure out how to be a hero even without his powers. It is a testament to the writing team’s character development and growth, and is a good sign for issues to come. This is especially important when you have young characters like Dash and Violet in a story.

| The Decade List: The 59 Best Films Of The Past Ten Years – Chapter III |
 |
NOTE: For structural reasons and to ensure that this list is super-duper pretty at all times, we’ll be posting this same intro for all sections of The Decade List. If you’ve already read all of this, you can just head down to the continuation of our list!
Let’s just get it out of the way right off the ol’ bat: yes, we know it’s been a few months since we left the decade. Most folks undertook this heavy task pre-2010, but we decided that it would be a little bit better to let the new year settle in a bit before hitting you with something of this magnitude. So here we are, geeks: we’ve officially arrived in FUTURE *cue retro ’50s sci-fi music* and still we have no freakin’ flying cars yet. What’s the deal with that? While it is pretty exciting to be inside of the year 2010 — a year that always seemed unreachable to us mere mortals — we are also exiting another entire decade that leaves us staring at one majorly epic task. That task? To search, dig, locate, retrieve, organize, polish, and present the very best films of the past ten years! We must once again declare that this list is also simply opinion. You are are without doubt going to find movies here that you hate and do not think deserve to be included. You will surely think of movies that you think should not only be on here, but that should be at the very top of the list. There will even be some that I have not seen and thus, can not add. Even at this very moment, I sit, worrying and wondering if I’ve forgotten any that I would include; that’s just the way things fly when compiling something this massive. With all of that said, we invite you in to relax and check out Chapter III our list, The Decade List: The 59 Best Films of the Past Ten Years!

| New ‘Toy Story 3’ Clip Looks Deeper Into The Choices That Need To Be Made
A brand new clip has shown up online for the exciting upcoming trilogy-making Toy Story 3, complete with an introduction from director Lee Unkrich. In the first full trailer for the movie, we saw Andy, now 18-years-old and heading off to college (and still voiced by original actor John Morris), holding Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) in his hands, deciding what to do with them and his other old toys. This was a favorite part of the trailer because we’ve all looked at old toys many years after we loved them so much and still felt that natural connection to them. In this clip, we get a lot more from this scene and how the movie is going to be set up when we finally see it on June 18, 2010. This Toy Story 3 clip is set to air on ABC Family when they air The Incredibles on Christmas night at 8:30. Click on over to the other side to check it out right now!

| Even You Can Help Pick The Best Superhero Movie Of All Time! |
 |

If there is one undoubted fail-proof in movies, it is that they inspire countless debates among their faithful and painfully stubborn fans. What’s the best war drama? Is it possible to pinpoint the best Pixar film? What’s the best Tom Hanks movie ever made: Big or Splash? The power of opinion has always been been an instant segway into conflict, even with the known fact that all have the right to their very own fair opinion — one of the true great mysteries of life. To help ignite these furious conflicts (who wants to stop them?!), Cinematical has created a tournament to determine the absolute greatest superhero movie of all time. This event has already gotten underway, but it’s not too late for you to take part in choosing the best of the best. They use the popular college basketball tournament bracket method where you will vote one section at a time, beginning with top seeded movies like Spider-Man 2 and The Dark Knight against the low seeds like Blankman and Orgazmo and on from there!
