Video: Jim & Pam’s Wedding On Tonight’s ‘Office’

When I was growing up, I just loved it when my favorite TV couple would finally get married and just couldn’t want for the “wedding episode.” (Remember when Joanie and Chachi on Happy Days finally got hitched? Loved it!)

The NBC sitcom The Office has already had one successful on-screen wedding — that of Dunder-Mifflin saleswoman Phyllis to refrigerate mogul Bob Vance [Vance Refrigeration] (see TV Recap: The Office: Phyllis’ Wedding).

There were a few other wedding misfires, but tonight, supercouple Pam and Jim are finally going to get married in tonight’s special 1-hour episode on NBC at Thursday 9/8c.

Check out here below the wedding episode promo, along with a video of behind-the-screens footage and a ton of preview clips from tonight’s episode; there’s also Pam’s video blog.

SDCC 09: UK ‘Office’ To Air On Adult Swim + Upcoming Line-Up

Geeks of Doom's Exclusive Coverage of SDCC 2009

The Venture Brothers and the rest of the Adult Swim line-up (sans Robot Chicken, which got its own panel earlier in the week) shared a panel on Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con, and the big news for some coming out of this is that the U.K. version of The Office will begin airing on the channel in September.

Originally airing in 2001, the series starred Ricky Gervais and is of course the basis for the popular American version airing on NBC. A total of 12 episodes and two Christmas specials were made for the UK show. If you think that this is an odd choice of a show to air on Adult Swim, keep in mind that they already run other British live-action comedies, such as Look Around You, Black Books, and The Mighty Boosh, so it should be a good fit.

Other pieces of news from the panel:

Metalocalypse Season 3 will premiere on November 8th, and the episodes will all run for a half hour.

Video: Dwight’s Zombie Advice On ‘The Office’

Obvious Zombie   |

During an impromptu intervention on The Office concerning Meredith’s obvious drinking problem, affable fleshbag Michael Scott ask the question, “What about tomorrow? What is going to happen when you come in to work and you’re dead?”

Office ghast Dwight quickly responds, “I stab her in the brain with a wooden stick.”

Then it cuts to the patented Office solo sidebar-cam, where Dwight goes on to inform us all that “There are several ways to kill a zombie, but” he continues “…the most satisfying one is to stab it in the brain with a wooden stick.”

Bring it on, Dwight. I may be dead, but I got skills, son.

Check out the quick replay video of last night’s episode “Moroccan Christmas” — Dwight’s advice comes in when the counter hits 2:20.

The Office webisodes are back, this time with a series about an outburst that Oscar has on the phone while at work.

The new Webisode series, called “The Outburst,” has the Dunder Mifflin employees going out of their way to find out what Oscar’s outburst was really about.

The first installment, which debuted online last Thursday, is available for viewing right here below!

I got a chance to watch the entire Webisode series already, which totals about to about 11 minutes of footage, so I know it’s definitely worth a watch. Be on the lookout for future installments of “The Outburst” real soon.
