Jimmy Fallon, Idina Menzel and The Roots Perform Let It Go With Classroom Instruments

On last night’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, host Jimmy Fallon and the show’s house band The Roots got together for another one of their “Classroom Instruments” performances. This time around, they were joined by Tony Award-winning performer Idina Menzel, or as the whole world knows her now thanks to John Travolta — Adele Dazeem.

For this installment of Classroom Instruments, the gang did a special rendition of “Let It Go,” from Disney’s Frozen, which Menzel sings in the film.

Check out the performance from The Tonight Show here below.

Jimmy Fallon, The Roots & Sesame Street

I can easily say that Jimmy Fallon has become one of the greatest nighttime talk show hosts of all time. The SNL alum and The Roots, who serve as the show’s bands, have taken late night to new heights, always bringing something new and fun to the table.

One of those new and fun things Fallon and The Roots have done recently on the show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, has been to perform the iconic theme song to the long-running children’s television show Sesame Street, “Can You Tell Me How to Get to Sesame Street?,” together with the Sesame Sesame gang, including Big Bird, The Court, Elmo, and more. Oh, and they performed the song using solely classroom instructions.

Check out the video here below of the aforementioned humans and muppets doing the song huddled together in a dressing room.

The Muppets on Jimmy FallonRemember back in September when we told you about the Muppets and their future plans for re-taking over the world (Read: It’s Not Meat, It’s Not Puppets … It’s The Muppets & They’re Coming Back Big!)? Well, they’re still going to do all of that! But as we also said, they never really left us either; those lovable Muppets love to make random TV appearances.

One of these appearances was last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where the Muppet gang joined Jimmy in singing the “12 Days of Christmas” along with The Roots. Yes, you read that correctly: The Muppets. Jimmy Fallon. “12 Days of Christmas.” The Roots. Wacky, huh? The song is typically known as one of the arduous variety, but with a little Muppet action, the simple nature of Fozzie Bear, and an appearance by Animal, this is one of the better renditions you’ll check out.

As always, click on over to the other side to check out the video, and a very Happy Holidays to all of you wonderful readers we have!
