| The Roots ‘Game Of Thrones’ Rap On ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ (Video)
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon a few days ago, host Jimmy Fallon played a fun bit (aren’t they all fun?) called Audience Suggestion Box. I guess Game of Thrones is on everyone’s minds lately since Season 5 is set to start on Sunday, April 12th. The suggestion was for The (ever versatile) Roots to perform a Game of Thrones rap to get everyone up to speed and ready to watch the next season. Check out that awesomeness here below.

| Jimmy Fallon & The Roots Freestyle Love Songs For Valentine’s Day
On The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this week, host Jimmy Fallon held a very special Valentine’s Day Edition of “Freestylin’ with The Roots.” Asking some guiding questions from members of his audience, Fallon showcased his biggest Tonight Show asset, its house band, The Roots, a musical outfit that I have asserted before might be the greatest band in the world. Watch the videos here below of “Freestylin’ with The Roots: Valentine’s Day Edition.”

| Jimmy Fallon and Will Smith Beatbox “It Takes Two” With iPad App (Video)
Last night on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, guest Will Smith and host Jimmy Fallon delighted viewers with their beatboxing/technology mashup skills by performing “It Takes Two” with just their voices and an iPad. Fallon, self-dubbing himself a “classically trained beatboxer,” brought out his iPad to demonstrate a looper app which allows you to put down a few tracks on top of each other, known as recorded layering. Will Smith and “J-Fal” laid down the parts to rap “It Takes Two” by Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock. Tonight Show house band The Roots joined in after a few measures. Check out the video of this here below.

| Jimmy Fallon Recreates ‘Fresh Prince’ Opening Sequence (Video)
Jimmy Fallon, The Tonight Show host and lip-syncing, superlative-making, barbershop quartet-ing, face-balling, lip-flipping uber fan, kicked off his week in sunny LA today with a frame-by-frame recreation of the opening sequence to the The Fresh Prince of Bel Air TV show theme song. In Fallon’s parody, the former SNL cast member tells the story of how he became host of the long-running late night talk show and why he’s bringing The Tonight Show from its current home at Studio 6B at Rockefeller Center in New York City to Los Angeles, CA, its former home for nearly 42 years. Check out the video here below. The parody, complete with Higgins in the “Mom” getup and his Tonight Show house band The Roots, also has cameos by Fresh Prince alumns, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton Banks). Guess what dance he does in this video?

| Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell & Kevin Hart Lip Sync Battle In Post-Super Bowl Show (Video)
The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon lifted the spirits of Seahawks fans, while filling the proud hearts of Patriots fans, with an awesome post-Super Bowl live episode from Phoenix, Arizona near the big game that included two of his best bits: the lip sync battle and a capella. Watch both segments here below, along with other highlights from the show. Fallon’s epic lip sync battle was between Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart, and of course, himself. Ferrell came out with Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love” complete with dance moves, followed by Fallon’s lip-syncing Kelly Clarkson’s “Since You Been Gone.” Kevin Hart did a moving “All of Me” by John Legend, crooning to Will Ferrell, who tried to move in for a kiss.
