| SDCC 2011 Video: ‘Eureka’ Cast Discusses Season 4.5 & More |
 |

The cast of Syfy’s hit TV show Eureka talked about what to expect in season 4.5 during a panel discussion on Friday at San Diego Comic-Con 2011.
Prior to the cast coming out, the network showed a trailer for the upcoming episodes, which revealed plenty of guest stars. The main draw of the season is definitely the appearance of Stan “The Man” Lee, creator of classic Marvel characters like Spider-Man, X-Men, The Incredible Hulk, and several more. “We’re all very professional adults on the set… but when we did that episode with Stan Lee everyone reverted to age 12,” said Wil Wheaton, who moderated the panel and appears on the show as Dr. Isaac Parrish. The panel featured Colin Ferguson (Jack Carter), Salli Richardson-Whitfield (Allison Blake), Neil Grayston (Douglas Fargo), Felicia Day (Dr. Holly Martin), and executive producers Jaime Paglia and Bruce Miller. We’ve embedded video of the panel below (check back soon for our one-on-one video interviews with Ferguson and Day).

Ben 10 Alien Force, Vol. 8
DVD
Featuring the voices of Wil Wheaton, John Dimaggio, Yuri Lowenthal
Cartoon Network
Release Date: August 24, 2010
If I could name this volume of Ben 10: Alien Force, I would call it “The Rogue Gallery,” since the five episodes in this volume featured villains from Ben Tennyson’s past. For those not familiar with the cartoon, Ben Tennyson is no ordinary teenager. Not only is he a part of a secret intergalactic police group known as the Plumbers, but he is also the sole bearer of the Omnitrix, a device that allows him to transform into various alien beings. With Gwen, his cousin and fellow Plumber, and her love interest Kevin, they embark on adventures filled with aliens, bounty hunters, and spell casters. I have reviewed my fair share of Ben 10 episodes and I am happy to report that these episodes are just as good as the previous. The quality of the writing and story is top notch for a kid’s program. I am always surprised by how snappy and quick the dialogue is for a kid’s cartoon, but I expect nothing less from creators of the show, the collection of comic artist and writers known as Man of Action. Along with great writing, the episodes always throw in some entertaining fight scenes, which are sure to dazzle the kids who watch the show.

The Guild
Season 3 DVD
Directed Sean Becker
Starring Felicia Day, Jeff Lewis
Release date: May 25, 2010
Are you a gamer? Have you ever played an M.M.O.R.P.G.? Do you like comedy? If you said yes to any of these questions, then The Guild is a show for you. This is one of my favorite shows and every time the DVDs come out, I buy them right away. The Guild: Season 1 DVD was no exception as I was extremely excited for this season, as much if not more than I was the first two seasons. As with Kevin Smith movies, the special features make it worth the price alone. Basically, The Guild follows a group of World of Warcraft players, although it isn’t referred to as that specifically it is meant to be that game, who form a guild and through the guild discuss their issues. Most of the time they don’t realize that they are helping each other become less dysfunctional. All of them have a different personality and different social issues and they all need each other to call each other on their crap. This is the basics of the show as a whole.

| SDCC 2010: Watch Now: Wil Wheaton and Cast of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ |
 |

What’s better than having the entire cast of geeky hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory sit in on a panel discussion at San Diego Comic-Con 2010? How about having Sheldon Cooper’s nemesis Wil Wheaton moderating said panel? That’s exactly what fans got this year in the convention center’s second largest meeting space.
After an unannounced performance of the theme song led by Barenaked Ladies and a clip reel of footage from the show [READ: SDCC 2010: Barenaked Ladies Perform “˜Big Bang Theory’ Theme At Cast Panel], the cast — Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar, and Simon Helberg — was asked a variety of questions, including what Nayyar’s future as a Bollywood superstar was, what it was like working with Christine Baranski, and what super-hero identity they’d like to take on if given the chance. (Hint: Helberg definitely wouldn’t be Moist). I fully expect their responses to be illustrated into a comic book and spread among the internets any day now. Check out video of the entire panel below…

The cast of CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory were on hand to answer questions from uber geek-turned writer Wil Wheaton at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con.
The real surprise came as Wheaton announced that Barenaked Ladies would be performing the show’s theme song along with over 4,000 in attendance who read from a lyric sheet passed out just prior to the panel starting. I’ve managed to upload a video of the performance, but the rest of the panel will have to wait until I find better Internet. Check it the performance here below…
