A Julie Andrews cameo in Mary Poppins Returns would make a lot of sense since the singer and actress was the star of the original film. However, Andrews confirmed that she would not appear in the follow-up starring Emily Blunt as to not take away her spotlight. So Andrews has settled for a different kind of role. A very unlikely one. According to a new report, Andrews will be lending her voice talents to James Wan‘s Aquaman. More on the report below.

![Aquaman Aquaman](https://i0.wp.com/www.geeksofdoom.com/GoD/img/2018/11/aquaman-530x285.jpg?resize=530%2C285&ssl=1)
Sure, Aquaman may have had a terrible introduction in Justice League, but the character’s standalone film promises to be the kind of epic that befits a king. And a king would not be king if he didn’t give to the people, if you are an Amazon Prime member that is. So Amazon Prime members will get to see Aquaman five days before its theatrical release. Additionally, there is a brand new trailer that will prove this will be something worth watching. More on the early release plus the trailer here below.

Zack Snyder Would Have Killed Batman In The ‘Justice League’ Sequel
![Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice](https://i0.wp.com/www.geeksofdoom.com/GoD/img/2015/07/batman-v-superman-header1-530x282.jpg?resize=530%2C282&ssl=1)
The original plan for Justice League was to release it in two parts. However, plans for that fell through, and Zack Snyder ended up directing it, with the help of Joss Whedon, as one film.
It’s unclear what a two-part Justice League would have looked like, but we are getting a better picture of what would have happened to some of the characters. Snyder took to social media to reveal that he would have killed Batman (Ben Affleck) in the Justice League sequel. More on the story below.

Geek Peek: First Look At ‘Aquaman’ Will Make You Want To Hit The Gym
![Aquaman title card image header Aquaman title card image header](https://i0.wp.com/www.geeksofdoom.com/GoD/img/2017/05/aquaman-title-card-image-header-530x366.jpg?resize=530%2C366&ssl=1)
One of the biggest problems for Justice League was introducing three new heroes to the DC superhero universe. This did not give much room for any narrative or exposition as the ensemble film had to squeeze out time to give some origin stories to The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg. However, all will be getting standalone origin stories of their own. At least we hope. But one that is for certain is Aquaman.
The film will see Jason Momoa reprise his role as Arthur Curry, the half-man half-Atlantean who is trying to figure out his place on land and in the ocean. Now we have our first look at the upcoming superhero film, which is being directed by James Wan (The Conjuring). Check out the first look here below.
