Julie Andrews To Make A Splashy Entrance In James Wan’s Aquaman

A Julie Andrews cameo in Mary Poppins Returns would make a lot of sense since the singer and actress was the star of the original film. However, Andrews confirmed that she would not appear in the follow-up starring Emily Blunt as to not take away her spotlight. So Andrews has settled for a different kind of role. A very unlikely one. According to a new report, Andrews will be lending her voice talents to James Wan‘s Aquaman. More on the report below.

‘Aquaman’ Trailer: See The Legendary Protector Of The Deep 5 Days Early

Sure, Aquaman may have had a terrible introduction in Justice League, but the character’s standalone film promises to be the kind of epic that befits a king. And a king would not be king if he didn’t give to the people, if you are an Amazon Prime member that is. So Amazon Prime members will get to see Aquaman five days before its theatrical release. Additionally, there is a brand new trailer that will prove this will be something worth watching. More on the early release plus the trailer here below.

Michael Chaves To Direct ‘The Conjuring 3’; James Wan Will Produce

The Conjuring has come a long way since its debut back in 2013. Not only have there been sequels, but there have also been spin-offs. In fact, there is an entire universe based on The Conjuring.
And that is all thanks in part to James Wan. Wan, who directed the first two Conjuring films, seemed like he would be closing out the trilogy. However, that’s not the case anymore. Wan will be stepping away from The Conjuring 3, and letting Michael Chaves take over directorial duties. But Wan won’t be too far away as he will still be a producer on the film. More on the story below.

New Line Hires Writer For ‘The Conjuring 3’

Now that the franchise as a whole is going by the name The Conjuring Universe, we knew it was only a matter of time before The Conjuring 3 would be on the way. The first two movies making over $638 million worldwide combined probably helps as well.
It’s being reported that New Line Cinema has hired The Conjuring 2 writer David Leslie Johnson to work on the script for the trilogy-maker. James Wan, who directed the first two movies and was also a writer and producer on the second installment, is expected to be involved in the project, though the report says he’ll likely produce this time with a new director brought in.

Warning – SPOILERS for AMC’s The Walking Dead…
Last week’s The Walking Dead was all about Rick trying to get various groups to join his fight against Negan and the Saviors. The Hilltop colony and the Kingdom both turned him down, as they were too scared to mess up the respective agreements they have with the Saviors. But then Rick and crew went searching for Father Gabriel, who’d been captured by a new group, the Heapsters, who Rick — after successfully surviving a feat of strength — convinced to join him. Their leader, Jadis, is a hard woman of few words, but it was clear that she’s no one to be trifled with. But Rick was just happy to have the numbers, and he smiled his way through their entire encounter.
On this week’s episode, 7.11 “Hostiles and Calamities,” we return back to Negan and the Sanctuary, in a storyline that picks up right after Daryl’s escape. Dwight, who was guarding Daryl, finds his captive’s darkened cell empty and then his own room ransacked, with a note left behind reading “Go now” in script. He realizes what’s happened just as his door is broken in and he’s beaten down by his own comrades as Negan, with his bat Lucille in hand, looks on.
