The Alamo Drafthouse’s art boutique, Mondo, is back at it again, about to deliver yet another offering of beautiful specialty posters based on popular movies.
Recently, we exclusively debuted one of their designs right here at Geeks of Doom, and there was also their spiffy take on Tron and Tron: Legacy, but today it’s back to a galaxy far, far away for three fantastic new designs.
Wired has Mondo’s newest posters from artist Olly Moss, which are based on George Lucas’s original trilogy, Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. The new posters have a simple but colorful and eye-catching design, and many fanboys would trade in their collectible lightsabers to get this on their wall. And unfortunately some may have to do just that, because these limited editions are going to be gone unbelievably fast.
You can see all three new designs by continuing on over to the other side now.
These will be released on Monday, but you’ll have to follow Mondo on Twitter to find out the moment they go on sale. And you’ll want to be paying attention — these usually sell out in minutes, and buyers will be especially twitchy to get their hands on this particular trio.
The posters are 24×36 in size, and will run you $50 a piece. 400 of each design will be sold before they disappear into the blackness for all eternity.
