How many of you out there enjoyed the first LEGO Batman video game that came out a few years ago? I’m betting a lot of you did as the game was a big success. Anyone hoping for the sequel should be very excited today as we have the first trailer for LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. The new game brings back Batman and Robin, as they join forces with other heroes of the DC universe in order to stop the evil plans of Lex Luthor and The Joker.
You can see the trailer below.
This time, fans will be able to play as Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and many others in all their blocky goodness. Players will also be able to explore Gotham City in the Batmobile, Batjet, and Batboat, and for the first time in a LEGO video game, players will be treated to talking characters. None of the voice cast was revealed but I don’t think I’m alone in hoping for Kevin Conroy and the entire DC Animated cast to bring their talents to the game.
LEGO Batman 2 will be out sometime this summer for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, Windows PC, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, and Playstation Vita.
