Recently it was reported that DreamWorks was testing unknown actors to play the lead in their movie version of the hit video game franchise, Need For Speed.

It would appear that the unknown actors that were tested didn’t cut it as it’s now being reported that Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul is set to star in the movie.

Holly Bario, President of Production for DreamWorks, had this to say about the announcement:

Paul won an Emmy for his work on Breaking Bad, and has also starred in titles like The Last House on the Left and Mission: Impossible III.

Need For Speed is currently scheduled to be released on February 7, 2014, and will be directed by Act of Valor helmer Scott Waugh.
