Interview: MC Chris banner

mc chris is known for a lot of things. From his early days as the simple, mild mannered Chris Ward working on Adult Swim, to his super hero like transformation into nerd rapper, mc chris – who’s known for songs such as ‘Fett’s Vett,’ ‘Hoodie Ninja,’ and ‘Part One’ (or as my fiance calls it, the Batman song). Ward has had his share of ups and downs, but has not balked from the downs, openly discussing them. I respect that, and have been a fan of his ever since the line “Hesh wants sex!” from Sea Lab 2021.

I had the opportunity to talk with Ward this week about his Kickstarter and current work-in-progress, the tentatively titled mc chis cartoon.

The Expendables Header

Much of what livens up the testosterone-fueled action film franchise, The Expendables, are the legendary action stars. The franchise is more concerned about the brutality of the hits and the size of the explosion over the plot of the film. The success of the second film paved the way for The Expendables 3 to happen, and film stars Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham are very likely to return. Their co-stars Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Arnold Schwarzenegger are reportedly not signed on to reprise their roles in the third, but at this point anything could happen. Red Hill director Patrick Hughes will direct the film.

As if the film couldn’t get any bigger in terms of the cast size, a couple of new additions prove us wrong. Deadline reports that Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Nicolas Cage, and Milla Jovovich are in extensive talks to join the cast of The Expendables 3. Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer made the casting confirmation to analyists early this morning.

Sam Mendes directs Daniel Craig in Skyfall

It was recently reported that Skyfall director Sam Mendes was likely to return to direct Bond 24. This comes after repeated exclamations that he would not return to direct due to his obligation to produce the theatrical version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and an adaptation of King Lear.

However, the director reportedly entered into talks with EON Productions and Sony Pictures to come back direct another Bond film. Now, there are a few more details coming out of those talks which are pinning the filmmaker to possibly directing not one but two James Bond films.

According to ShowBiz411, Mendes is coming back for Bond 24 and will end up directing Bond 25 as well.

The Movie God   |  @   |

Rain Image

For those of you who are more into the smaller, more artsy (in a good way) type video games that get released from time to time, here’s one to keep an eye on.

The game is called Rain, and it comes from Sony Computer Entertainment Japanese Studio, Acquire, and PlayStation C.A.M.P. In it, you play as a young boy who is transported to another world while chasing a girl, making you invisible…until it’s raining, that is. When showered with rain, the boy appears. As the boy you’ll make your way through the world trying to find the girl and figure out what’s going on. But then there’s the invisible creatures. Fouls beasts who seek you relentlessly.

Simple enough! Be sure to head below now to see the story trailer for Rain, as well as an added bonus for those who have yet to see the game in the form of a gameplay demo of the first level.
