| New ‘Hellboy’ Video Shows Off The Practical Effects
One of the fastest way a movie can win my attention is to opt for old school practical effects over the more convenient digital effects whenever possible. The more used, the better. The upcoming Hellboy reboot, which stars David Harbour, Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, Sasha Lane, Penelope Mitchell, and Daniel Dae Kim, is one of those movies. With director Neil Marshall behind the camera, practical effects were an important ingredient in crafting this new adaptation of the Mike Mignola comic book of the same name. And to show off some of these practical effects, Lionsgate has released a new featurette video which focuses on the special effects. You can find it below.

| ‘Hellboy’ Trailer: David Harbour Raises A New Kind Of Hell
Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy films were an under-appreciated adaptation of the comic books of the same name. While they’ve become cult classics, the film franchise has since shifted to a new studio. Rather than building upon the existing movies having Ron Perlman return as the title character, Lionsgate went with a reboot. This time, David Harbour (Stranger Things) will be playing the title character in a film that adapts the source material with an even darker and more grittier tone. Filled with all kinds of violence and profanity, this new telling of Hellboy isn’t the one that GDT told. Which may be fine. But we will just have to wait and see. Check out the latest trailer for the upcoming film here below.

| First Look At ‘Stranger Things’ Star David Harbour As The New Hellboy (Image)
As much as we would like to see the Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy franchise to continue on with Ron Perlman, Lionsgate’s reboot is steering it in a new direction. And with every reboot must come a new cast. Stranger Things star David Harbour will play the title character, with director Neil Marshall (The Descent) taking the new iteration towards a hard-R. This follows a recent string of hit comic book adaptation that have been geared towards a more mature audience. But we didn’t know what Big Red would look like or at least how he would distinguish himself from the first take. Now that has changed, with the film posting the first look at Harbour as Hellboy on social media. And not a teaser, either. A full body look at the character, one gigantic arm, shaved off horns, gun, and all. Check it out below.
