A trailer has a tendency to reveal either the best parts of the film or too much of it. So after watching this first trailer for Escape Plan, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone, there is a sense that it’s both of that.

The film is about two prisoners who try to break out of the world’s most inescapable prison. One prisoner actually makes a living on breaking out of prison (Stallone) and the other an aged criminal who will help him break out (Schwarzenegger).

While the premise sounds like the basis of a good old fashioned action movie, this trailer just gives too much of the plot away. Check it out below.

Just like an old-fashioned short before a feature film, The Fez #1 by Roger Langridge (winner of both Harvey and Eisner Awards) offers up a sample-sized dose of action and laughs starring his charming title character.

This invisible (and yet somehow still dapper) hero doesn’t speak a single word in the mini-comic, but Landgridge has managed to fill The Fez with enough personality that he practically pops off of every page. The two vignettes showcased in this launch introduce a character that’s more chaotic neutral than your stereotypical action-adventure lead. In the first story, told from an enemy’s point of view, The Fez presumably rights a wrong and manages to nearly drive that foe bonkers during the process. Really, how could you not appreciate a hero who stalks his enemy (who may or may not be evil) and basically annoys him simply for his own pleasure?

We’ve already seen the first official image of Russell Crowe in the upcoming biblical epic from Requiem for a Dream, The Wrestler, and Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky, titled simply Noah, and now comes a handful of new images to check out.

The new images include another look at Crowe in a poster-esque shot, and our first official look at the other stars of the movie, including Emma Watson, Anthony Hopkins, Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, and Logan Lerman.

FX is developing quite a few limited series, which are basically just mini series with a limited amount of episodes set beforehand.

One of the limited series being developed that has just been announced is Mohicans, which is based on the James Fenimore Cooper novel The Last of the Mohicans. The story is set during the French and Indian War (the North American chapter of the many worldwide wars of the time that are together known as the Seven Years’ War) in 1757, and follows Natty Bumppo, also known as Hawkeye, a white man raised by Native Americans.

The FX project is described as “the story of America’s beginnings as a nation as told through the eyes of Cooper’s classic characters from the historical novel The Last of the Mohicans.”
