| ‘Free Birds’ Want You To Adopt A Turkey This Thanksgiving!
In honor of Thanksgiving, each year, Geeks Of Doom takes part in Farm Sanctuary‘s Adopt a Turkey project, where we donate to sponsor one of the rescued birds living at one of their sanctuaries. This year, Reggie and Jake – the animated stars of the film Free Birds (voiced by Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson), have partnered with Farm Sanctuary to be “spokesturkeys” for the annual event. “We want you to join our flock and adopt a turkey today!,” said Reggie and Jake.

| Al Pacino As Lestat In ‘Interview with the Vampire’ (Concept Art)
Before the adaptation of Anne Rice‘s popular novel Interview with the Vampire hit the big screen in 1994, there was much controversy surrounding the casting of Tom Cruise as the vampire Lestat. Rice publicly stated her displeasure with the filmmaker’s choosing Cruise over her personal selection, Julian Sands (Warlock). But before Cruise was locked in for the film, Al Pacino had reportedly expressed interest in playing Lestat, so artist Miles Teves provided a concept sketch of the actor as Lestate for the film studio. At first glance, Scott Waugh‘s (Act of Valor) Need For Speed might look like a terrible carbon copy of one of the installments of the Fast and Furious franchise. But upon closer look, that may not be the case. Aaron Paul plays Tobey Marshall, a mechanic who participates in an underground racing event that results in one of his closest friends getting killed. After being released from his jail sentence, he rallies his old crew to get revenge on Dino (Dominic Cooper), the person who put him in jail and killed his best friend. But the only way to do that is by getting back behind the wheel of a souped up car and participating in a race that stretches across multiple state lines.
