For a long time we’ve wanted to know what a talking gun-toting raccoon would sound like in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. So when Marvel announced that Bradley Cooper would be voicing the character, some wondered if Rocket Raccoon would still have that signature Cockney accent heard in the form of video games and an episode of Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Now we didn’t get to hear him speak in a href=”https://www.geeksofdoom.com/2014/02/19/its-here-guardians-of-the-galaxy-full-length-trailer-now-available-video” target=”_blank”>trailer, and in a lot of ways that is a good thing. For for those who just can’t wait any longer to find out what Cooper will sound like, a new video released by Marvel Studios gives us a small small hint. Hit the jump to find out.
So it may not be full-blown dialogue, but one second of Bradley Cooper voicing Rocket Raccoon should be enough to whet your appetite.
Opening in theaters on August 1, 2014, Guardians of the Galaxy is directed by James Gunn, and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Benico Del Toro, and Djimon Hounsou, with Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot and Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon.

Lame, I was hoping RR would have his Cockney accent. James Gunn should have lasted the oft-rumored David Tennant.
